Almost makes me want to distribute illegal copies purely out of spite. (Note to RIAA: Almost!)
It is possible that someone could want to go to matrix.com instead of whatisthematrix.com, since Matrix is a popular brand of hair products that predates the movies. (At this point, Matrix styling gel is probably more popular than Matrix movies anyway...)
hkypipe writes "In response to a CNN story slamming tech support, a former tech fired back. He correctly points out that much of the trouble end users have with their PCs can be traced to their skillset, which in many if not most cases would make them more qualified to operate an Etch-A-Sketch."
No offense, but I think people who use phrases like skill set are probably part of the problem too.
Would someone please provide any evidence that any online petition has accomplished anything, besides giving the signer the feeling that they have done something?

It's nothing new -- Limp Bizkit did this in 1998 . (Try Googling for '"limp bizkit" payola commercial' for more.)
Nope. Looks like it's "a new director's cut".
and some innocent parties are falling victim
And that was before they got Slashdotted...
I don't understand all the naysaying -- it's got free shipping!
I can't wait until The Passion of the Christ comes out on DVD and becomes a delightful five minute romp.

Asking this question presumes that Corporate America is honest now.
Microsoft "abandoning 'innovation'" is like hippos abandoning spaceflight.
Searching MSN for Google shows that Google is an MSN "Top Pick." Wonder how much longer that'll last.
I just wish they remake the original Simpsons arcade game..
Which was just Simpsons + Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (or the generic side-scroller of your choice). Feh.

And, what the hey, here's the SpamCop report.
I got one too -- which is strange, since I'm not really a gamer. Bastards.
The US Supreme Court's multimedia site, Oyez.org
While they provide Supreme Court multimedia, they are not an official Supreme Court site.
When the big dance scene in Zion started, did anyone else think, "Hey, it's like a rave in the Ewok village"?
Since everyone already thinks they're crap, why not take advantage of it?
Notice how they misspelled "Disallow" in the fourth item, and that none of the pages seem to exist. Good job, Cyveillance!
I'm sure the CIA and military haven't been snooping before -- since it was against the law and all.
The IMAX version was cut to two hours; otherwise the reels wouldn't fit on the projector's platter.
I saw it on an IMAX Dome, and, man, was that unpleasant* -- very much like watching a movie through a telescope from the front row.
(*I mean differently unpleasant from seeing it in a regular theater.)

Anyone know Bill Gates' home address?
He could have downloaded this off of Kazaa or somewhere.
I could be mistaken, but I don't believe one can get an actual CD-ROM via Kazaa...
Don't be silly -- George Lucas can't get a good performance out of any human actors.
Slashdot basically gave them a free ad by posting this story. Oh, the irony.
