    At the rate things are going right now, the next time France is invaded it will probably be *by* the USA.

    Right. As we're going after Germany. Again.
    Seriously, the biggest problem will be France selling this technology to rogues states. Like the reactor they sold to Iraq. Or the chemical weapons they sold to Iraq. Or the warheads they sold to Iraq.
    Well, you get the picture. Everyone pins all of Iraq's WMD on the U.S., while the U.S. accounted for less than 1% of all arms sales to Iraq. Biggest sellers? Russia, France and Germany.
    Hmmm, who was going to veto the Iraq invasion?

    Don't worry. We will invade France right after they're put under Shariya.

    BTW,some software houses have already realised - you have to slash prices to make revenues here, instead of making nothing on local markets - I've bought two or three localised games (Jagged Alliance 2, most notably) legally, with jewel box version for less than $4.

    Are you kidding? How many people went to prison for this? Just because the witness who would implicate the President died before he testified does not mean that the allegations were never proven.

    The fact that oil is mostly priced in dollars and that everybody is dependent on it is a good portion of what makes the dollar so strong. If too many people price their oil in euros, the dollar loses demand and may inflate a whole lot due to the sudden oversupply of currency.

    This might be the dumbest argument I've ever seen. Congratulations.

    Guy I worked with was a MOUS and hit a snag in MS Access. Since he was a participant in their expert helpline, he called MS to see if they could recommend anyone to help him. They said they'd check.
    A half hour later he got a call from MicroSoft outlining his problem to him and asking if he had any clues as to why it was happening.
    He finally realized they were calling him to answer his problem.
