A culture with more words is a culture with more of an ability to feel and experience deep thoughts and a meaning of self. That was a cool argument in the 1700's. ALL people of ALL cultures have the same ability for thoughts and feelings. Words are only a way to express the feelings we have. That is why poetry exists.

Most problems with warranties and/or support have allot to do with not reading the agreement we enter into. It has amazed me how many times in my life I have bought products only to find out I would not have had I read the materials available to me. I hate to say it but at this point I ALWAYS make sure I know what companies policies are before spending more than $100. I am not blaming the consumer or myself, it is just at this point we should know better than to trust a corporation bent on increasing profits.

An important distinction to note is that you cannot give up ANY constitutional rights.

An example would be that you cannot waive your right to free speach. Microsoft can make that part of the contract yet it will mean nothing in court. All citizens have the same constitutional rights and those rights cannot be infringed upon even in a state court or your private property.

Life has changed, our society has changed, the important part is to use the spirit of our past to find our future which is unknown. I have great faith in our people and great faith in our path. It will be a bumpy path as they all do seem, yet today here in Alexandria, VA the pain of tuesday still kinda hangs in the air. I am sure the feeling in New York is much worse. Never forget 9-11-01. God bless America and even those Americans that I may not agree with God bless you too. Together we are strong and we will overcome not only a misguided bill in congress. Also we shall overcome our new enemy. Life has changed I have felt it before. We may look pampered and soft fighting with words against one another yet below that is a pride that is something no words could possibly describe. We are made of steel and work in groups very well. Soon the world will yet again see the strength that our little agruments make.

I would not without a court order allow anyone into my computers. EVEN FOR JUST A GLANCE. At the same time the judge can order this and I will follow ANY court order. That is why the GPL and changing our current system is so important. Our laws on copyright and patent are outdated and unable to deal with information in the age we live in.
