Also the acceleration shouldn't be too bad, since the car only weights 380kg. The horsepower/weight ratio is much better than for most traditional cars.
The touch screen interface problem is what makes me wonder why the hell Carmack is so eager about iPhone development. It just plainly sucks to control a game by moving the device. For a FPS you want to look at the screen from the same angle all the time, no matter how good the screen may be.
I was wondering if Apple might have trademarked a cartoonesque drawing of Steve Jobs, otherwise this kind of caricature/parody should be protected by the freedom of speech.
In the source you can see the canvas is fixed at 1900x1200. The framerate was virtually the same for me, even when resizing the browser window to 1x1 or not showing it at all.
As long as the acceleration works, these result should be expected as everything is drawn to an offscreen image.
Forgot about that, but does anyone actually pay it?
You mean like just taking the $ price tag and charge the same in € ?
If you wanted to know what it is, you might want to read this paper.
I found it quite interesting, despite not understanding that much.

Thanks for sharing! That really is a viable excuse for using telnet.
The comments pages use 50% of my CPU-time continuously on my C2D 3GHz. Slashdot is definitely no longer usable on any of my mobile devices...
