  1. This is an option? on Man To Marry His Pillow · · Score: 1

OMG, think of all the money you could save on dating, condoms, pregnancy tests and the inevitable flowers when you hurt their feelings. I don't think I would go with a pillow though, I think someone needs to send that guy a link to Realdoll.

Now that the government is involved it's so much more complicated. There are forms and as you can tell from the picture the agency isn't sufficiently funded.

I filed my request to have my zombie neighbor disposed of several months ago and I have heard nothing yet. I keep calling the local police to ask about it and they just laugh.

I wish I could take the issue into my own hands but a friend of mine is currently serving time for failing to obtain a death certificate before bashing his zombie neighbor in the head. On top of that they tried to prosecute him for burglery too. IMO if you take out a zombie you should be able to help yourself to the TV for trouble; after all zombie killing is messy business.

  7. Re:Skip until cheaper/better on Is the Kindle DX Worth the Money? · · Score: 1

If Amazon was smart they would drop the kindle in the near future and open their whisper net to other hardware developers like Sony.

They have spent the time to develop content and an effective distribution network now they should decide if they want to compete with other better known hardware manufacturers or become a service provider and let other developers duke it out on the hardware.

I think the key to Amazon's prosperity so far has been built on access to content. The next developer to emerge with a content delivery system will pose a serious threat. And if that provider is a major name like Google or Sony they are going have a serious fight.

Google already has a massive library of public content works all imaged and ready to be deployed at this moment. If they develop a wireless delivery system and market it to ebook manufacturers Kindle will likely become a obsolete format.

Making a moderate but reasonable offer is a good idea. Don't be too official, you'll likey make them think you got more money than you do.

I have in the past sold several of my own personal domains. Mostly they were college project websites that I decided to get a domain to point at my college subdomain.

I sold few at around $2,000 but I managed to land one whale. I won't say who but a major liquor company bought a domain for one of their products, luckily my registration predated their trademark and I had a functional site. I knew I had a big one when I got a phone call from an attorney from New York not a poorly spelled email from a guy asking if he could buy my domain.

Yeah my last home was custom built. I didn't even have a landline only cable hooked to a VOIP box. Most buyers were like WTF you have no phone lines? I had to explain it to the bidders that wanted me to reduce the house price $5000 because, "they needed to install phone lines." I finally offered to prepay the internet & VOIP bill for the year, a whole $480.

The buyer thanked me when they realized what they got, but it did take some explaining.

Face it, we're on the virge of Manifest Destiny 2.0, we have a obligation to take a leading roll in the downfall of society, just like the Romans.

If you can get your hands on a cheap multi-media phone with gps, anything with symbian OS will work. Download the Google App package and install google maps. Then add Latitude. Google latitude lets you share your location with select friends and it can be set to refresh based on your cellphone's gps signal. For the first 3 months of this year I was commuting over 100 miles to work, each way. My wife could follow my progress on Google Maps and get a pretty good estimate of my arrival time. It isn't the most accuate but it is a free service provided you have a phone with a data package.
