Hopefully to be pounded in by Linux:)
Seriously... where's the Micro$oft of olde, which would rush in with massive software discounts to lock in the client? I wonder what they have up their sleeve this time.
As is said, better an enemy whose methods you know than one with those unknown.
From the summary, "The millions of consumers waiting for coupons for digital converter box coupons will finally receive..."
Coupons to get coupons? How long before those run out and we need coupons for coupon coupons? (ad infinitum? Also kind of sad that this typo reflects the actual state of things!!)
You forgot to post the article to that...
"The Latest research suggests that living in itself may in fact be inherently dangerous to everyone. Experts are currently working on a plan to reduce this danger, and research suggests that objects such as rope, razors and high-strenght drugs may be beneficial in eliminating the danger of being alive."
Stats tend to be quite useless when it comes to these things... Correlation is NOT causation! e.g. if I eat an orange every day and my stress level goes down, does not mean the orange is reducing my stress! Granted, it's possible, but it would be more reasonable to assume the brief break while I'm eating the orange is what is beneficial.
Kudos to them for taking the initiative to be more efficient rather than to just buy more servers to increase capacity.
On a side note, I wonder if this makes their servers able to process their data faster... If so, it means more getting sniped (and possibly snipers getting sniped) for the average joe.
I wonder as to the real value of posting something like this; Who says that they have not devised some more secure method of communication.
Sounds like false hope to me.
New from Nintendo: the Xii! with Full body motion sensing suit, and 3D stereo headgear. (Stationary hamster ball sold separately.)
Seriously, I would be surprised if this WASN'T the next logical step.
...Except the fun people had mailing them bricks in pre-paid envelopes when they recalled their DRM-laden music CDs in Spring 2007.
Interesting how some people think that the internet shuts down when they're not looking... Analogy FAIL.
They do when they explode... Google search: Mythbusters exploding hammer
You do realize that post was just a flamebait, right?
*Insert your favourite, most creative Linux vs. Windows argument here*
I like my toe cheeze and CLI, you insensitive clod!
