    Only that the name was not set by the FSF. Indeed, they were using that name (without the GNU prefix) before they joined the GNU project.

    If you knew RMS as you think you do, you'll know that name doesn't match his pattern.

    Well, IKEA customers aren't carpenters either. They don't make the library. They assemble it following the precise steps they are told to.

    Installing a Debian distro and selecting which packages you want to install is even more close to "build yourself".

    I've been 4 years or more without installing a new version release. I use Debian/sid.

    Of course, I've been installing package upgrades, but not a new version of the OS. I have a (quite) updated system, and at the same time, I have an old operating system. I'm pretty sure that was what the person you are talking to was trying to say.

    If the disk is mine, I can resell it as I want. It's like a book, and don't tell me that reselling books is bad. Once I sell the book, movie or game, I can't see/play it again. So, what's the problem?

    And game creators do win with second hand sales. Because many people won't buy so many games if they couldn't resell them later and recover part of their money.

    Except that this association has acted in the last deade with an unlimited greed. They even demanded a play made by disabled people, for they wanted their money.

    In retrospective, being so greedy in their work, it seems easy to guess they would be just as greedy in life, so they couldn't get their hands off the booty.
