A lot of 'salaried' positions are actually hourly-exempt. If you work more than 40 hours you get 40 hours pay. If you work less than 40 hours you get docked by the number of short hours. Working overtime on a consistent basis means you are diminishing your value on an hourly basis. If you are paid the equivalent of $20.00/hr. and end up consistently working 80 hrs. you are now working for $11.00/hr.
That's entirely understandable. I've gone through three email addresses (main ones) because of local ISP's getting gobbled up or just dying off and it's a hassle trying to get everyone to change to the new address (there are always some folks who say two years later, "How come you don't answer your emails?" even though I've sent a notice and additional emails since the change).
They are heavily biased (ie/ Last I heard, Muscle Media is owned by Bill Phillips, who owns EAS, a supplement company) and have some insane routines that would easily be overtraining for someone that's not on roids.
I'd have to disagree. The routines are far more balanced than you'll find in the likes of the other weightlifting rags. I'm not taking steroids and have no difficulty with the program (I did at first but that was because I was sedentary prior to starting). The one thing I like most about Muscle Media (which Mr. Phillips sold I believe) is the references to peer reviewed university studies for supplements and exercise routines. Overtraining just doesn't happen if you follow their routines because you limit your lifting to three hours a week and rotate between muscle groups with min. 3 days rest between workouts involving a given muscle group. They occasionally have an article on how to maximize the effect on a particular area that can be somewhat crazy (but they usually involve body weight only and are limited in duration). I guess you'd have to talk in specifics rather than generalities before I can even begin to comprehend where that statement came from.
That wasn't l33t! It was kind of a cross between the Anguish Languish and poor spelling....
I believe that prayer on the floor before proceedings is unconstitutional.
I've always found this an interesting position in that those who wrote the constitution didn't seem to have a problem with it.
He yawned while bending over and contracted pneumonia in the subsequent draft.
...gasoline which, as we all know, is quite safe even in accidents.
Tell that to all the officers who've died or been severely burned when their Crown Victoria patrol cars have been rearended and exploded.
Or maybe Howard the Duck!
Nuff said.
Oops. $10.00/hr. not $11.00. I think I just devalued my comment by not being able to divide....

I haven't taken the time to read your comment yet, but feel compelled to take you to task for violating the DMCA and the ASPCA and a duck.
i think something like one vote is kept in a sealed envelope, only to be opened in case of a tie.
No. You're thinking of Miss America..... or was it the Oscars?
I guess the Senate must be debating the fifth?
How refreshing! Usually they're pleading the fifth....
