I find it rather hilarious when a McDonalds is vandalized, due to their corporate practices.

Should I be on that Jury?

Personally I'm not so sure a jury of your peers is the right thing in EVERY situation anyways. I really wouldn't want to go to jail because Joe Sixpack thought I was a "evil hacker".

The problem is that despite the Fantasy, RPG-like setting, none of the people playing this game have the imagination to role-play. Thus they will whine about such an event, instead of weaving tales about it, and other fantasy-like things.

These people wouldn't be bothered to Seperate Dark Elves and Wood Elves (mortal enemies) in everquest, because it would upset their rate of experience gain.

*gets out calculator, 'cause its late and I'm tired*
the year of our Lord 1126? The most sophisticated weapon was the longbow, and the french actually use to put up a fight. The Church reigned supreme etc. So much has changed, and todays world would seem bonkers to folk from back then. Hmm, reading this back, I must be tired. Its all so damn obvious.

But they still had 2 legs, 2 hands, 1 ass, and no antennae in 1126.

And they still will in 2880.

Evolution does not work that quickly, especially in populations the size of humans. The world will be different, but we will be the same. (maybe a few inches taller still due to better nourishment).

Well it aggrivates me that if I use basically no water or heat for a month that I still get a minimum bill. I don't know if this is the experience everywhere.

What scares me about the switch from all-you-can-eat to metered Internet access is not the caps--I use a tiny amount of bandwidth--, but that if I don't use the net for 29 days of the month that I'll still be charged like $30-$40 US dollars because thats the minimum.

I'd gladly pay $5 per gig or whatever if there was an option for me to pay $6.50 if I only use 1.2 gigs that month.

Out of curiousity, having never owned a store, when you take your cash to the bank (assuming a couple thousand dollars at least), and they count it all out, do they really not give 20 bucks if they find a stray counterfeit $20 in a stack of $4310 dollars?

Do you as the store-owner take the brunt of this?
Can't you just raise hell and threaten to take your business (which must be worth more than $20 to a bank) elsewhere?

I mean I could understand if you brought in bags of the fake stuff, but if it was one bill out of hundreds, I'd be a little pissed if they brought it up to me.

Most people I know who listen to a lot of rap are not computer types, and they buy a lot of CDs to drive around in their cars with.

That and as a relative E2 newbie, I can say that I've never seen so many people write so much info to get newbies acquainted with E2, and yet have much of that material be unorganized and confusing.
