The heating may be caused by the increased power consumption - all Li-Po batteries have a certain constant discharge rate. If the battery gets close to that discharge rate, it starts heating up. Add to this the heat that the telephone's chips create and you get a phone that's burning your hands! This would explain why even some normal phones heat up while talking (W610i for example).
Why won't manufacturers use batteries with greater discharge rate?
Simple: the batteries would be larger for the same capacity (mAh).
Go for Masters, have fun and enjoy your days as a student. You can work for the rest of your life (I'm not saying it'll be boring, but it surely won't be the same).
If you find yourself low on salary, you can always take some smaller projects to work on, get a part-time job or take a break from studying and go to work.
Chrome may be faster and better looking, but it lacks a master password for web form passwords. How can I lend my laptop for a moment to someone, when all my passwords are visible?
I've played airsoft for years and I believe there aren't many direct connections between airsoft or paintball and real shooting. Instead of killing someone, the person simply sits down or walks away after being shot. Also, if you'd talk to someone that has been in the army and played airsoft, they'd say it's not comparable to even real combat imitation, everyone walks around 100m away from enemy, with no fear or being shot. IT'S A GAME.
On the other hand, in computer games you do "kill" someone, there's blood etc... Why not ban them?
They always have to go for the good stuff first, don't they?
My first Linux experience probably wasn't as long ago as it was for most Slashdotters.
I can't remember exactly, but it was most probably either of these two:
Installing Linux on an old Pentium I 133mHz with some MB of memory and less than 1GB hard drive to run a small web-server and IRC bots. I ended up installing FreeBSD, as I found more documentation as a newbie.
Trying to partition or format a drive with Windows on it
On both occasions, my hands were shivering just of the thought of messing around on command line, it seemed so "new" and exciting!
Launching and using Firefox on Ubuntu 8.10... always seemed to feel like I was going back a few years, to a time when Web browsers were not considered something you always had open to service Web applications like Gmail and Bloglines. It was the same with Windows Vista.
Of course launching is slow, if the first thing you do after installing Vista is turning off all the features, including SuperFetch. I only remember a few occasions of Firefox starting up or loading pages slowly (though, the latter is not a benefit of SuperFetch).
If they make it easily configurable, then I believe it will be as successful as the "smart" location bar - a bit strange at first, but after 2 days of use I can't image how FF2 was so popular without it.
One great solution for all this username and password hassle is an electronic ID card, which is already used in many countries.
For example in Estonia, larger (over USD500) bank wire transfers can only be made when logged in with an electronic ID card (or with an inconvenient pin-calculator), which is read by a standard Smart card reader, sold for USD10 and is already integrated on most new business laptops.
It is nice to see that this card can also be used for signing in on many (both public and private sector) sites. As every Estonian has an ID-card, very many people actually use it daily. Hopefully one day it will be easy and cheap enough to be used on most websites.
Guess they'll be in big trouble when global warming strikes Belgium!
Does the speed vary depending on inner beauty too?
VICTORY, at last I can start to use Gmail!

So basically we know that global warming has taken over our ocean's currents when our compasses start pointing to the south...
I expect to see Windows 7 on Vista's Windows update by the end of October!
Windows Vista was, and still is, perceived as a slow operating system in the minds of most power users.
Only power users that consider Vista to be slow are the ones who use XP cause they've never used Vista.
Ask him whether he's impotent or yes. Every day.
<-- title says it all.
Post it on Freenet forums and hope it gets into the right hands.

Get a life people! You probably only have one.

People who come up with this stuff simply have too much free time in their hands.
I don't believe that this will go through in Finnish court.

I'm going back to pen and paper to send mail, then there's no encryption for hackers to break!
