I like buy.com because they have almost everything and at pretty good prices. However, whenever I need something in a hurry and pay extra they always screw something up and it gets delayed, when I go with the free option I usually have it within 2 days.
Though I appreciate the press he's getting the whole podcast movement his podcasts are among the worst out there. Just slightly better than static noise.
My favorites: bbc's fighting talk, cbc's quirks and quarks, the laporte report, benjamin walker's theory of everything. Thanks to these, audiobooks and NPR my daily commute is almost bearable.
Yes I know I didn't link, how about adding linking as a feature to slashcode?

$150 on the capture card and didn't have to spend $70 on the software because it came with the card.
I work with kiwis all the time, the accent takes a bit of getting used to even for humans. For example you'd probably pronouce deck and dick the same way while in American English there'd be quite a difference.
did you read any of the early comments? out of the first 20 or so 15 said you can't make anything useful with Excel, that is total BS. Go to any trading floor or any advanced financial institution and they will rely heavily on Excel. Just because it's made by Microsoft doesn't automatically mean it sucks.
not according to Wikipedia. They got Babylonians, Greeks, Egyptians, Persians and Chinese in the summary. Maybe their outsourcing contracts required that the credit goes to those other countries.
Count me among those who don't get Picasso. I went to a Picasso exhibit opnce and was thoroughly unimpressed. Lots of crotches and bulls, sometimes in the same sketch even. Yawn.

Quirks and Quarks has been available for a while not sure why this is news.
I've heard that people are having fewer wisdom teeth than in the past due to better dental care.

whether your leaving your spuse or your job, just be nice. It'll serve you better in the long run.
I only found digg.com after listening to the ROTSS podcast where the former Screen Savers alumni talked about what they're corrently working on.
Don't be so sure. When i submitted the story I pointed out that I found the link on digg.com which Kevin Rose is involved in.
No worries, some people believe in God, I choose not to believe in space elevators.
do browsers still support it? I haven't seen a page using that in about 10 years.
I don't believe a functioning space elevator will ever be built on earth.

It's called the real world, based on the ridiculous comments thus far I suggest a visit.
