I have a blackberry for work, find myself hitting the backspace key every 2 or 3 keys, because my fingers hit too many buttons at once. Considering, I probably type just as fast with one hand on touch screen as I do with two thumbs on the blackberry.
On a side note, you should probably refrain from doing work related business while shitfaced.
I'm interested in the fundamentals of this. Consider third party funding. Is it impossible to use a satellite to link up with? Even if it's private. I don't see this being illegal, unless we got in really really bad shape. I'd like to help out.
I'm assuming that your comparison of TV and cigarettes would in turn imply the comparison of internet and crack. Sure anyone can go without TV, but NO INTERNET?!?!?! ARE YOU FREAKING CRAZY MAN!??!? I GOTTA HAVE MY INTERNET!

Are we ever going to have cross platform games for PS3 / PC / Xbox? Seems to me this would be the easiest to accomplish with MMORPGS. I understand there are issues about server capacity etc. and compatibility, but you would think at least Xbox and Windows servers would be able to work together. Now what about Free Realms servers, and Sony PS3 servers?
Forgive me if I'm being overwhelmingly...close-minded here.
Is it just me or is the tens of thousands of dollars people spend on university and college pretty much worthless in most countries in which people immigrate here away from dodge?
I'm not saying our education curriculum is flawed. And I'm certainly not saying that foreign countries systems are weak. I just wonder what $20,000 per year or semester or whatever it is for you is really worth for some average grades, and a piece of paper saying you paid for it.
Speaking with my high school friends about how much money they're in the red with, while still in school is kind of reassuring for me. On the other hand I'm sure we all know someone who is holding a very nice desk job with a bachelors in art history or some shit.
Unless of course we're talking about doctors etc. who want to come here for our amazing medical advances, in hopes that they can take this home eventually regardless. In that case I say spend your money as you will. I'm not sure how these university granted scholarships work for non-naturalized citizens but I have a slight problem paying taxes for that. It is right there with having to pay an uninsured tax on car insurance, in case someone who is legally obligated doesn't have car insurance.
I just received a letter in the mail today. It said your debit card information may have been compromised from Feb. 2008 to Nov. 2008.
No further direction was given. Not even whether I need to act further on the matter or not. Just a page saying it was breached and telling me I should check my web track of daily transactions. I do!
Well your post kind of contradicts itself. If people around New Jersey refer to it as Jersey, I'm sure people around New York City refer to the New York Times as The Times no one would confuse this with the London Times, just as The Miami Herald is The Herald, and The Washington Post is The Post. Just people being lazy.
If I ask someone if they picked up a copy of The Post, because I work in D.C., they'd know exactly what I was refering to. However, if I asked someone if they picked up today's copy of the Herald they'd look at me a little bit funny.
Additionally if I asked them if they picked up a copy of the Miami Herald, they would think I was crazy. But I could still ask if they picked up a copy of the New York Times, as that is a major source of news on the east cost. It's all geographical.
So this should generate revenue right?
Only reason I bothered replying is that, for now Last.fm is probably my favorite online listening outlet. I prefer it over downloading (legal or illegal) simply because I don't have to download or store anything. This also keeps me open to new and similar artists. As a musician I really like this feature.
I'd be heartbroken if somehow CBS turned this into a monthly fee type radio function like Sirius or something. I think there is a lot more potential for mobile radio etc. this way rather than satellite radio. Only way I'd consider even paying for this service is if they gave me some option to listen in my car, but with the same user preferences as my PC, automatically determining which artists I like listening to, rather than selecting a certain genre specific radio station like Sirius.
Was this list in descending or ascending order?
I seemed to find the highest ranked (10...9...so on) to be much more interesting than Apple's Apps store.
It also looked as though the first few entries had a much larger summary than the lower ranked numbers. For some reason this just seems to be totally opposite the idea of a countdown to me.
This is easy then, isn't it? Just put ads on the homepage or even in the Last.fm player to link to Amazon or wherever to buy the album you're listening to?
First use of the icon preview I can remember coming across was Adobe Illustrator...something 5 or 6 I don't know but that had to be around 1996 or so, Windows 95.
I live in Maryland, and for the past couple weeks it's been raining off and on pretty much every day. A very cold 25-35 degree misting type of rain.
Perhaps they've already started testing?
So does this new technology only allow client only based games, where maybe you could download the first part of the game, and progressively as you complete different levels the rest of the game downloads?
I don't see it being very plausible in multi-player games as you would most likely have to have the whole engine and all the map / character textures and video rendering engine?
Do you think the scorpions intended the image to be this close to the border line of illegal / legal? did they really mastermind all of this?
I think people are missing the main point of the article, or maybe I did...but I think it's more about the potential for future censoring, as interpreted by the IWF...basically if they're controlling what 95% of UK viewers can see, there's not much room for anything to slip by.
I think someone mentioned this above, what happens if you miss something important because they want you to?
Which machines/meters accept pennies?

If this trend continues, we won't need to pass SOPA/PIPA.
I'm interested in the fundamentals of this. Consider third party funding. Is it impossible to use a satellite to link up with? Even if it's private. I don't see this being illegal, unless we got in really really bad shape. I'd like to help out.
It works.

Does it need an explanation?

Homeland Security is a department, above an agency IIRC
Don't worry, just visit Hulu via Internet Explorer 8.1 and you can view all the encoded server-side HTML and JS.
I mean the following statement with little to no sarcasm at all. How many of you will believe that is a different story.
I have Slashdot to thank once again for saving me at the last minute from switching from Verizon to Comcast.

Sorry for rambling I lost my train of thought.
P2P Is now considered a threat to national security. We definitely need to stop funding the war on drugs and start up a new war on sharing.

And Idols, and islands, and dancing...
Seems like I'm living in a t.v. show.
Maybe it was just a reference for time.

Who would have thought, thousands of years later, thousands of advancements in technology, and we're back to writing on rocks.
