Ha I've the same mouse, I'm on my second one after I literally wore the pads off the first one from so much use. It's got to be my favorite mouse in the world, the only thing I don't like about it is the damn thing gets so dirty. More so than other mice it seems like.
Shouldn't surprise you, a corporation has no reason to be ethical in a relief situation. Everyone can point at everyone else in the corporation, and still all reap some nice profits.
Those wonderful 39 billion don't generate cash when put into more towers, customer service or anything that other wise improves the service they are providing. Where as spending 39 billions to take over a competitor and gain a mess load of new customers does. In short they don't care about anything besides the $$$$$ which shouldn't surprise you, considering they are a corporation and are by nature soulless evil things.
No doubt but it doesn't seem likely that it will cause any of the problems related to radiation sickness or anything obvious. At worst I think a higher chance for cancer is the extent of this.
I found one source that said firefighters had radiation levels of 27 mSV after a 13 hour operation (presumably to cool down the reactor). Which doesn't seem to me to be a severe healthrisk after looking at the chart provided. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm vastly annoyed with the media, given how they talk you'd think people were losing their hair and growing skin lesions.
You'd be surprised how much better pirated versions of games can be due to buggy or invasive DRM. Even as simple as not needing to put in the DVD each time you want to play the game can be enough drive for someone to download a no CD hack if not outright pirate the game.
News of the Hour Corporations Lying hear more at 11. Honestly I am not even surprised I look at almost anything that's advertised these days and I'm so jaded I can't help but think what's the catch. Even on simple things like 2 for the price of 1 taco sales.
From reading the article I get mostly that it's done all with Mirrors and prisms essentially. Maybe someone else can point out what's so exciting about this?
For a second, I thought it read as "Android passes Sybian for most shipped mobile platform" and I couldn't help but wonder, what this new android vibrator was, and since when did Sybian have a mobile version.

Lawyers already have enough work to keep them in practice for the next ten years even if no new cases are filed. Stop with this madness already.

That article sucks horribly they missed such a huge opportunity for jokes if only they had called it ooze instead of sludge.

You have been eaten by a Grue.
Typically I just whip it out one day at a dinner party. It's always a great hit.
I guess if the dominate language isn't English, she won't be teased that much. Still I can think of some pretty terrible jokes.
and I thought my boss was bad when he made me friend him before he would hire me!
One step closer to developing actual man hacks, from half life two. All that has to happen now is for the military to get a hold of this tech.
but they are still super massive right? If not that totally ruins most of my celestial bodies jokes.
wait slashdot has a friends feature? what the heck for?
But will they be able to get Nick Fury to run S.H.I.E.L.D?
In the last decade or so, random fees has become an industry all it's own.

First they take away my Dungeons and Dragons and now it's my Cellphone. What next discourage urban exploration on prison grounds?

He's a Californian Congressman, it seems lately that entire state has a hard on for video games.
I still can't get a damn invite to that site.
I was thinking the same thing myself. Sure he pissed off the entire government but he's got so much press I doubt he can just be disappeared.
Good luck enforcing that, I wish you the best.
