I've fallen behind in my web 2.0 buzz words. What the hell's a crowd source?
I was thinking someone or something that draws crowds like Obama or double jointed Swedish twins.
Unenlightened minds want to know!
I hate twitter. Please can someone make a new Internets keep the porn and just not allow social networking sites. Also ban the use of the phrase 'web 2.0' or web *.* of any sort.
The term profession is applied to those persons who have specialized and technical skill or knowledge which they apply, for a fee, to certain tasks that ordinary and unqualified people cannot ordinarily undertake.
While I'm not sure prostitutes need specialized and technical skill or knowledge for what they do (I could be wrong, if I am could some prostitute please correct me?). They do get paid, where I doubt Mister stone age Picasso got paid for what he did.
I can't say it's 'best of show' because honestly I'm to lazy to download and install a dozen readers and test them. I just grabbed a reader and it turned out it was Foxit and I liked it. If anyone has an opensource solution they can recommend I'd be more than willing to try it. I'm not about to go and look for a replacement for Foxit though, it does it what needs to well.
I really hate it when people use piracy as a scapegoat. If what you make is good you ~will~ make money. Seriously, to take a product that's not great and say 'it's piracys fault!!!11' is just deluding yourself so you're bound to make the same mistakes as last time, only with more DRM if/when you take another stab at the market.
So what exactly do you bring to this discussion? You came to brag about how you didn't buy a game which you suspect you wouldn't of liked?
Not exactly a great feat, I don't buy games often that I don't think I'll enjoy.
I played through Bioshock, it didn't impress me at all. I was surprised it even got good reviews. I'm a long time PC gamer though, all these multiplatform reviews seem to skew things a bit. Beyond nice looking water I can't really think of anything that made me interested in the game. Maybe it's the steampunk novelty that everyone digs.
You've got a pretty bleak outlook there. I don't actually have much faith in anything, but the one thing I do have faith in is the achievements that mankind is capable of.
Global warming exists, but it doesn't scare me. The earth wasn't always this temperature, and if things get hotter we will just have to deal.
An Ice age would scare me but not global warming, the earth was much warmer than it is now several million years ago, if it gets that warm again it doesn't mean we are all gonna die. Sure things might get hairy for a while but seriously global warming isn't that dangerous to our survival as a race.
This how ever doesn't mean we should abandon working towards more energy efficient and cleaner sources of energy. This has to happen for us to progress forward as a race and while it should happen naturally I've no problem with a bunch of alarmists freaking out and spurring the desire for better sources of energy. When these alarmists start infringing upon my freedoms though I'll have a problem.
I was playing Eve six years ago, that's about the most I did as far as the MMO scene. I had a friend who did evercrack though. I guess I just wasn't that connected in terms of MMO gaming.
Regardless of what comes out it won't really change anything. The Area 51 mythos is to ingrained for conspiracy buffs to give it up. After all if Area 51 was just a secret government facility for planes, then what about everything else that was a cover up/conspiracy.
Thank you all those who posted but I'm aware it was planned to be a trilogy. I was just trying to point out that so few things that are good in media these days can ever simply stand on their own as being "Excellent". There must always be a sequel, prequel quadrilogy etc to milk it until it's not worth even recommending to friends. That or your recommendation goes like this "Ya the first one was excellent but don't bother with the others."
Newer isn't always better.

Leaks are the cool way to release news now days. I just don't ask from where it leaked (ewww).
I don't see any way this could possibly go wrong!

So like the way the UAV will probably replace (or mostly replace) the manned plane. Will these 'UWV'replaced manned subs?

same here. I switched to foxit ages ago, simply because of adobe being so bloated. It made reading PDFs enjoyable again.
I never played Bioshock

I thought they called those remakes. IE go back with a game that was good but not great. Fix a few plot holes and fix a bit of game play issues.

Can it give me super powers if it accidentally hits me?!

I was also using the internet six years ago. I don't think it's age was why I hadn't heard of it.
I have never actually heard of this MMO, so I guess perhaps marketing fail on their part.
Flying cars. Maybe if we don't have roads someone will finally make one.

Unlawful. That is all that should matter, how disappointing.
Reading this article I suddenly have the urge to watch Steve Balmer's Developer rap.
Give us a year maybe two.
