A "cold war" is when both countries give each other the "cold shoulder" (Indirect fighting ect). In this case, they used puppet wars such as Vietnam and Korea. The cold war was more of an arms race more then anything, mainly to see who was the "Top dog" after WW2.

The FCC is the American version of China's MIIT.

If you think the MIIT has that much power over the Chinese people, how much more power does the FCC have over the entire world?

It's funny, there are so many similarities between China and the U.S. Both are huge world powers that use their military and economic power to intimidate neighbors. Both are led by an oligarchy of unremovable political parties. And both have populaces that are brainwashed and fiercely patriotic.

China is a good mirror of ourselves, so when this type of thing comes up, it's a good idea to take note and think about how we ourselves are being manipulated right here at home.

If only I had mod points...Your entirely correct. The population here in the US looks down on China, as if we have no similarities and they're inferior when in fact we're so much alike.

On a side note, I think a 17â with a decent resolution will surprise you more than you think. Youâ(TM)re upgrading from an old CRT to an LCD which is a big leap, try going to your local PC shop and have a look at their inventory to get an idea. Also, you won't hit HD until 22" with 1900x1080 res.

IANAA (Adult, yes) Nuclear is much more efficient when compared to wind farms, but nuclear energy hasn't been developed enough for it to be used as a main energy source. There are many advances and safety precautions to be made before nuclear goes to the big leagues. Intermittently though. we need to drastically cut our addiction to oil and go after power like wind and solar.
