WTF did I pay money for then?

I too thought they were aliens.

Last fucking time I go to a movie theater and expect to see an actuall movie that tells a complete story.
I'll just pretend I'm paying 7 bucks to see a DVD preview which will be out in a few months..

And no, I won't torrent it either. I'm just not that interested in it, and know that Lucas couldn't present a believable story about the origins of Darth Vader...

I believe this phenomenon is called a "mistake".
It happens every now and then when people do things, but end up with results that are unexpected and not satisfactory.

Depending on the level of damage that such a "mistake" causes, people have differing reactions.

Some people react quite analy to even the slightest of such perturbations, perhaps making a note in their daily blog, while others recognize them as being insignificant, and go on happily about their lives.

I thought with Longhorn MS would develop a somewhat virus secure system, that wouldn't need a full fledged AV.
Now, with this they don't have to. It pretty much means, in the Windows world, it's gonna be more of the same with respect to viruses... You're not safe without a good AV product.

Can you see how they're gonna spin this one? "We're so commited to our secure computing initiative, we've developed our own AV product, and made sure it "Just Works" with your current operating system!"
