    I use mozilla, opera ,firefox in that order of pref.
    And there are a lot of IE sites. I usually let them know the are not standard complient.
    If it screws up all three browsers it's the site's problem not mine.

    If I need the site (like Dish network) I bitch at them every time I go there, if I don't need it, I just avoid it.

    I doesn't take much power in this part of the spectrum to have a great range. That's why it is so useful. Depending on the propagation, anyplace in the world is reachable.

    Hope your a cable/satelite user. Channels 2-5 are in the range discussed in the article.

    Maybe you can watch your neighbors porn on channel 2.
    The people who listen to broadcast radio at these freqs might also be a tad hostile towards the interferance also.

    Any navigation and ship to shore services left in this freq range?

    I don't know about the code in their boxes but they could use some help in programming their web pages.
    They must have a bunch of people using Front Page and no one talks to anybody else, dead links, buttons that down load instead of activate, screwed up display , etc.

    The first question is why are they writting it.
    If it's for the user then , hey what the user wants should be a priority.
    If it's for the satisfaction of the programmer, then write what you want.

    What you write for yourself may or may not be useful to others. The question is , "is it what I want to do?". This is a "value judgement" on the part of the writer.

    Some of the "symptoms" could just as well be applied to TAG kids and adults. The obsessions with a subject, intense concentration, disregard of surroundings/people. One problems with tag kids is boredom in school, which can lead to disruptive behavior or withdrawal, some just play dumb.

    People tend to select a group of people around them that have similar intellegence, if there are none what does it look like?

    Depending on the speed you want, try a thrift shop.
    You may have to buy a whole box for $25 but you get to play with the parts.
    I have found it best to buy generic machines at thrift shops, Compaqs, Dell, AST etc are not generic enough.

    I think it is somewhat justifiable to discount this study on it face. How many times do you stick your finger in the flame, before you learn that it is not a good idea. Same thing with MSFT sponsored studies,
    They have been found wanting so many times, that most people don't bother with any investigation.

    You have to pay them each month.
    It would not handle our Sat receivers (dish UHF).
    You either but the TIVO with the Sat recv, or in the room with the TV. If with the Sat Recv. IR doesn't work with the TIVO. IF with the TV the Tivo can't control the sat recv.

    Great machine other than that.

    So far the number of channels doesn't seem to be a problem. What to fill them with seems almost insurmountable, at least to date.

    You know you're in trouble when the best thing on is the weather channel in french.
