It's funny that you bring this up- I am helping my child with algebra and I have forgot most of what I had learned in HS... but I am relearning everything with little proofs that I write myself. It is actually quite fun and I remember hating the classes from when I was in school.
A nanogram is 1 billionth of a gram, or 1PPB. Since a liter of water is 1000 grams that works out to 44 parts per trillion. That is a very small amount.....
Tiger Woods actually fractured his leg playing golf. Sure, anyone can play golf or soccer for that matter casually, but when you get to the professional level it is completely different.
I am not aware of any but it would be nice if they made them so we wouldn't have to see these kinds of posts any more.

The vast majority of Windows users have never been to Seattle, so the connection isn't obvious to most of us. Again, the name sucks from a marketing standpoint that is all I am trying to point out.

The meme at the time mostly surrounded the term 'metrosexual' and if MS didn't understand that 'Metro' would be associated this make my OP even more poignant.

At the very least they could of named it something other than 'Metro'. This meme was popular several years ago but has faded considerably by now. I'm not a marketing guy but couldn't they have picked something a little better for an OS name?
You do know that Ebay purchased Craigslist? They recently have been taking legal action people making software to search multiple cities for items. Ultimately they want to make it so inhospitable that it is a worse experience than using eBay.
It looks like he's selling it based on geek appeal, not family appeal. And before your snicker at 'family appeal', look at the groundbreaking work that Pixar did with Toy Story. Obviously 'The Hobbit' shouldn't be the same, but the original was a short book for children. Children don't want to hear half the story with a promise of a sequel. They certainly don't care about frame-rates.
Jamming it into 90 minutes and making it into a good movie would have been a challenge, making it into two movies and letting the director be sloppy with editing is not.
If Peter Jackson wanted to challenge himself he could of attempted to create a movie that would appeal to both children and adults as the original story did.
Instead it's multiple episodes, 40 frames per second, etc etc.....
I know lots of corporate people that have been banging their head against the wall trying to integrate iPADS and plan on gobbling Surface tablets up as soon as they are released.
It does improve the work environment - many times alpha types will do what they can to get others to reveal personal information they can use to haze or pressure others later. Keeping things professional makes it a lot easier for most people to get their job done.

Any occupation is a fight against entropy of some sort.... the OP is really talking about doing things for the good of society.

Lots of intelligent people don't accomplish much for a variety of reasons, you just don't know who they are.
It appears that hindsight isn't related to IQ either.
Bathroom scale errors are mostly linear while IQ measurement errors increase for each standard deviation.
So did Bobby Fischer suddenly become unintelligent when he stopped playing chess?

That's bs you need to make your expectations known to the team without singling anyone out.
Is your team a bunch of 14YOs?
I don't understand why people continue to confuse the Higgs field with the Higgs Boson. They are not interchangeable....
