    I have a second run movie theater that costs 6$ total for me and my two kids. Yeah people can be annoying at times but it hurts a lot less when you paid so little.

    Except this has nothing to do with law like seat belts do and everything to do with a privately owned website. Google can run their website as they see fit- I don't have a problem with that.

    But seriously do they spend thousands of dollars on this stuff? The way it stands now people spend a LOT on these things. Luckily I locked in on Virgin Mobiles 25$ unlimited data plan.

    My kids are old enough to be alone now for periods of time and I like have a phone that's always available, so I still have a landline.
    One thing that I think would be a cool product is a cellular phone that has the ergonomics of a desk phone, so it would be comfortable to use and wouldn't get lost.

    Isn't it theorized by some that the pressure is high enough in Jupiter that the hydrogen is metallic? Does anyone really understand the metallurgy of metallic hydrogen?

    The number of people native to Iraq who can handload a rifle and shoot under a MOA you can probably count on one hand- there are hundreds of thousands in the US.

    I think culture is an important difference you are neglecting.

    It's a matter of time too- transferring the data from the platen to the disk is less than a second but transferring to flash memory could take minutes. That is a major bottleneck to mass production.

    I always say this to people who get mad if nobody laughs at their joke. If nobody laughs when you tell a joke you have failed.
    It doesn't matter if the joke was funny and if you're delivery was good. When you are trying to make someone laugh you are catering to their sense of humor.

    I wish interface designers thought this way.

    Yes the samples are unique, but so is any other rock. I had a million unique snowflakes melt on the top of my house yesterday!
    The real issue is what is this moon rock witch hunt costing the taxpayers, and to what end.

    Wool of the right weight can be very cool and has natural anti-bacterial qualities. You only have to dry clean a few times a year. Cotton starts to stink after you wear it a few times.

    You actually dress as a show of respect for others. It's an easy boost for your career with only a minor outlay. Good quality dress items only need to be cleaned and pressed infrequently and are actually more comfortable than cotton which dirties quickly and retains sweat and moisture.
