No. Google would (and likely approve) an app that aggregates the words typed in, the frequency the words are typed, the most likely word written before and after, and an email forwarding mechanism. Link it to a word list (so you're sending numbers instead of words, and you're Googling it right.
Then sell the program that statistically reverses this simple procedure for hundreds.
Any company who's definition of 'compete' is 'sue into the ground' is evil. I.e. MS vs. Salesforce.com , the recent Oracle vs. Google, and Apple... well Google doesn't show any recent 'Apple sues' that's actually related to competition. Looks like just the Gates and the Ellison.
The big benefit is the few small optics for photonics over the many small wires for electronics. Reduces interconnect space and the number of things that have to succeed in order to have something sellable.
Microsoft is the owner of the software. They would be the ones that would require OEMs to ship an install disc with their license. Where this probably eats into the bottom line is when the crapware companies require their installers on the disc as well; creating unique install discs for each system.
The article was created based on a Dell forum post, which suggests its a revision/replacement board, and that Dell found it, rather than someone outside. Getting parts that are compatible but not fully debugged happens, Apple,HP, and Asus have done it too.
The plan was to axe DVI, VGA, and LVDS replacing it with a single DisplayPort standard. PS/2, DE9 RS232, and DB25 IEEE1284 to USB are extremely common.
Stop requiring MS DOS floppy disks
For every system I know of, one can flash a BIOS using drive C:. Just partition accordingly or acquire an SD to PATA adapter.
A mobile phone may be able to do 90% of the things I need a computer to do (cannibalize 90% of the features), however I'll buy the device that does 110% of the features I want. Why? Because that's how devices are compared, reviewed, and used: a 8 of the charts are features and performance, and the last 2 are battery life.
All these 'smart' devices are going to be in landfills in 5 years due to worn batteries and cracked screens. Intel's Moorestown and AMD's Bobcat will also be in the rink in 5 years, either to clean up or 'peacefully co-exist.' Intel and AMD won't be annihilated: they're just moving their embedded experience from actual embedded systems to super-small-form-factor devices.
The tower could be poorly constructed and fall on your house, or someone may be nearby when the fence near it gets hit by lightning, or a war could make it a target, creating a dangerous situation because of the tower. Since hypersensitivity is an immune system response, the effect should be measurable.
The effect you would be expecting from EMF towers is similar to tobacco (effect from continuous exposure at a particular frequency for a length of time) as opposed to asbestos (effect from improper treatment and handling). These towers are magic and man-made, so they must be evil. Now excuse me while I absorb up large amounts of healthy multi-frequency radiation from the sun. Oh, the sweet cleansing power of UV!
You have a head start since TeX has been around for decades and have known shortcomings and strong points. Your software would also need to have the same penetration, expandability, etc. to qualify.
But at that point you would realize that you are an idiot to go though such lengths to call someone else one.
The insurance company, with their "negotiating", pays much, much less if it covers it. I.e. like that $10k "negotiated" to $600 with the other 8.4k magically disappearing. Negotiating health care like it's a used car is mad, but very businesslike.
About the middle of 2008 with the release of ffmpeg2theora 0.21 did theora really become general purpose encodable. But regardless, LAME was still being 'perfected' in 2008 and it's an MP3 codec.
Theora didn't miss the boat, and as far as open source standards go (that run on current hardware e.g. not dirac), it's it for video, unless you got the gigs to go MNG/FLAC.
I can't believe google would do this, don't they know goats emit methane?
Yes, but the goats are not likely raised to mow lawns. Its more of a productive use of livestock: eat some companies' grass instead of beating the crap out of a field and supplementing with hay. The methane is going to be there no matter what; the question is do you want mower CO2 AND methane, or just methane.
Alternatively, you could lease the normal grazing field to some guy that wants to plow it.
Raising animals is a pain in the ass; a lot more maintenance than lawnmowers.
You cannot right click on Apple's mouse without lifting your finger off the left side of the mouse.
And don't forget about the 4th button going ballistic click-click-click-click "WHY DO MY WINDOWS KEEP MOVING AROUND!"
It appears everyone here uses either the Logitech or Apple bluetooth mice. From experience, Bluetooth mice is one thing Dell has over both of these established companies.
I would say Dell Bluetooth mice have this market cornered. Pretty much has the same number of buttons as the nicer logitech (5 + tilt wheel) at a slightly cheaper price.

Because Theora is based off of the other On2 (now Google) open-sourced VP3?
It's an iPod that makes phone calls. I base the success on the popularity of the iPod, not the phones it was destined to replace.

No danger because of them

Lycos is the other small fish. Hotbot uses Windows Live search and Altavista uses Overture (heavily laden with Yahoo ads).
The gas wasn't free, the machine didn't bill for it.

Oh? Go look at the revenue figures, they disagree. Every time tax rates get cut revenue rises. Every time.
AK's not talking about the government's revenue, he's talking about his own. I noticed the same thing with mine!

I question whether author buys batteries. One cable is typically cheaper than 8 AA batteries.

And I want to choke the authors of Linux Bluez to death.
I believe the correct answer is Qualcomm. However Ubuntu 9.04's bluetooth fixes the problem you're stating.

And HD-DVD, don't forget about them. They may not have any new releases, but they aren't dead!
Awww man, what am I gonna burn this amazon gift card on now???
So not only is the defendent incredibly guilty, he/she knew what would happen when ignited.
