When comparing two jobs I've had, one with the government where people pretty much do their job and screw around a bit at random times, and another for a bank where everyone took their 15 minute break at the exact same time and everything was scheduled and systematic, I think the job where people just kinda daydream and do whatever every so often gets more done on accident than the corporate job ever did. Plus it's a lot more of a happy environment. I'd rather "go be productive at another company" :D

I'm obviously going to win with my idea to feed the people from overpopulated countries to starving people. Gets rid of world hunger and overpopulation! :D If you want to be even more evil, tweak it so you're feeding obese people from overpopulated countries to starving people to get rid of three major problems with one stone! Hell, less people may mean less global warming, too. And pirates!

Wait, people across the world are people too? LIES!

So I just started using Ubuntu in November from a Hardy CD I got from my Comp. Sci. Teacher. So far I've got it working nicely (save for the pulseaudio thing, but that's fixed with a quick killall script at bootup). Been reading over a lot of the discussions here, but it's more for the "Lawl I know what the Hell I'm doing with this machine 100%" group, and I'm more of a "Does it have the compilers I need for class, and firefox? Awesome" type. As that kind of a user, is it worth upgrading right now, or should I wait for the next LT version?
