Reddit got the investment, and now any post that gets too popular and is negative about the Chinese government gets removed from/r/all and/r/popular. It was proven quite quickly because several BIG posts about Tianamen Square were removed that day.
Basically, reddit has become an arm of the Chinese propaganda department.
The Old Reader. It's web-based and you can use Google or Facebook login, or a completely separate one if you like. Since the Google Reader shut-down was announced they've made a lot of changes including adding keyboard shortcuts mostly the same as Google Reader.
YMMV of course, but I find it a suitable replacement personally.
Small manufacturers can make a fortune just selling backwards compatibility adapters.
Making adapters completely negates the value/safety of creating a standard for tubing ends... but no adapters means introducing SOME new tubing means replacing ALL the old stuff, which would be kind of expensive. That's sort of a catch-22.
Call me naive, but as I see it the interesting part of this community is the community response - opinion, insight, bullshit, etc. The "news" is less interesting than what people have to say about it.
No the solution is to introduce something that consumes yeast waste. Ideally, its waste should also be an enjoyable snack for yeast cells.
Seriously though, while it seems to raise a red flag at least partway, couldn't the solution be to pair the yeast with something that produces waste is not toxic to the human system, or to use GM yeast with harmless byproducts?

I can't help but wonder exactly what prostate as a verb means. It sounds deeply unpleasant.
