    I feel the same you do but lets take it one step further and just stream it online and do away with cable television, for most of what I watch I can watch the episode that night or the next day on the channel's website for free(with commericials) so perhaps we could pay the 1$/month to watch our tv commercial free? i mean if it was all online the cableCo's wouldnt have to spend the money broadcasting everything all the time, more of an on demand structure, but even this would require them isps/cableCo's to upgrade their infrastructure

    so that we can have SHD and when they roll out the holographic spheres with 500 TB of space we can get QSXHD, then, 10,000 years from now once we have higher dimensional holographic discs we wont even be able to comprehend how good the picture is!

    I would love this for when I go to visit friends at other colleges, if it is fast enough you could say go from cleveland to chicago for the day,I doubt it would be a 300 mph rail, but even if we can do something like 150/200 I think it would increase interstate commerce/tourism if implemented such that it was not super inconvenient to use and was cheaper than driving

    are you streaming your hd off wireless/network drive? you will need to set a larger buffer to overcome that problem, its under the settings somewhere, --> upgrading to my N airport extreme helped alot with hd movies over wifi

    vlc is fantastic, when im downloading a season on something and the file is only 80-90% done im too impaitent to wait, doesnt take to long for it to build an index and goes right along playing

    buy it your self on new egg for 1/4 the price on newegg and have some extra sticks left over to give away as a present to someone with less ram, thats what i dd with my mbp, upgraded my moms macbook to 2 gig when i bought 4 gigs

    Ive seen this done with laser printers when I visited a friend Rose Hulman Institute of technology, thing is that people hack the printer to put their own messages on the little lcd :)

    the problem is that most people are too stupid to realize this in first place and will get upset if the same amount was directly taken in taxes from them directly even though it is cheaper for them because the corporations will not charge you exactly what the extra cost to them it is from taxes, they will charge you more to make money on those taxes

    Not that I RTFA but are they actually modifying or just selecting a suitable embryo that already had the possibility of being carried to term naturally? I mean we already fucked over natural selection a long time ago, i.e. antibiotics, surgery, clean drinking water, soap, etc. It could be argued that this would reverse some of that, only the embryos with the best genes would be selected, removing bad genes that we are able to compensate for, hopefully not just the embryos that will look the best in which case humanity will get progressively less intelligent and might as well turn back into monkeys

    well, its not an audiobook, no body was paid for their time to read and record the book, and who is to say that all of the ebook buyers would use the TTS feature? it would definately not be fair to charge extra on the ebook for something the customer does not use/want. Next thing you know websites will want a fee if you use a TTS accessibility function of your OS, on that note its not like TTS hasn't been around for a while on computers, why the sudden fuss?

    no, dont go for it, it is not the child's fault that the parent is stupid(shoud not have been allowed to reproduce in the first place, but thats another discussion), why should the child have to run the risk because the parent made a bad decsion? I do realize that it sounds like I am suggesting that it be made law for everyone to be vaccinated, but it pretty much is, when I started college, I was not allowed to live in the dorm without having, i forget which, but some vaccine upto date
