I'll bite. 2 km/s is a measure of escape velocity, which seems to be a reasonable way to quantify the depth of a gravity well, but I'm not qualified to say whether it's a more or less useful measurement than the gravitational acceleration.
What did you expect, really? Why would Blizzard alienate all the fans of the first game by completely changing it up?
On the flip side, I can say that if you've played SC1 and enjoyed it, you'll probably enjoy SC2 as well. In fact, there are a bunch of little improvements (rally workers to resources, idle worker button, select more than 12 units at once, better pathing, etc.) that make 2 much less of a hassle at times than 1.
I'm a little confused how this guy's "hack" worked as described. I just checked Twitter and it doesn't have password recovery questions. And the "forgot password" form offers to send a password reset link to the email address associated with the account, so it's not going to be a way in unless you have access to the email too.
I was pretty sure the answer was "slow enough to tail an passenger jet", but I looked up the numbers out of curiosity. Jet airliners fly faster than you might think...according to Wikipedia, the cruising speed of an A320 is Mach 0.78 (which at 37,000 feet is about 515 knots). The stall speed of an F-16 is reported to be somewhere in the vicinity of 150-200 knots, so one could easily keep pace with a cruising A320.
$400? It looks like a 3-pack of upgrade licenses is $140 at Amazon. Or is that not an option for some reason?
Yo dawg, I heard you like regular expressions...
He was probably going for "flouted".

Well, he wasn't a truck driver. Maybe a plumber?
I hope you cast Wash on Hands while you're at it?
Consider switching to unary - you'll only have to backspace once each time.

A Buzz Aldrin cameo would be enough to sell me on any comedy.
In America, fabrics were used to produce marijuana! ...wait, what?
That's even worse. That only leaves ourselves.
Wait, what did the US have to do with the decommissioning of Mir? You realize Mir was a Russian station, right?
Does that answer your question?
...now we're going to nuke Mars?!
Well, it has at least font.

Wait, are we talking TeV or TieV?
is 3.5 TeV?

He's been around since at least 2008.
No ho is safe.
How many people don't know that "wherefore" means "why" and not "where"?
Why can't they be thinking about both? How about they don't get paid till you're safely back on the ground?
One for each neuron should do nicely...
