    I'm sort-of sitting on the fence over this one, coz I believe that the EDS could potentially give invalid data under certain conditions e.g. tyres slipping and spinning freely, etc.

    Hmm... How am I going to decide if this is fair/unfair? I know! Does the EDS run Linux?

    I get the sentiment but:

    1. You could install cygwin on windows and get "ls"
    2. You could alias/create a batch file in windows called "ls" that does a "dir"

    Unix(R) is a lot more than ls and other 'simple' binutils.

    Really, SCO ought to shut up now, their executives are looking very foolish currently imnsho.

    Darl should try to abide by this old adage:
    "Oh Lord, please help me keep my big mouth shut until I know what I'm talking about"

    This really does stink of a campaign rather than an actual legitimate legal dispute. They seem to be trying to maximise damage and potential short-term cash reward rather than settling the dispute.

    From my POV, they look like blundering idiots who don't know who they're suing.

    Most of those pics were the same babe. It's like an engineering class: 200 males, 3 females, one of which is a babe.

    Does that mean all Freebeasties have to clamour over the one babe (whoa, talk about resource contention), or is the fact that she's BSD-based mean she can be copied and freely redistributed so long as her parents are properly credited for their work?

    Yes. Works very well. I used it at my last company to sychronize trees between linux, solaris and NT machines. (I used networksymplicity's port of OpenSSH for windows)

    Automating syncs in cron + a few lines of shell script is trivial.
