Well you are also wrong. You could go back and kill hitler (assuming he is the one you mean;) - and in the new timeline you create he would never stomp around europe and cause wars, but in the original timeline you come from nothing would have been changed because of that.
The vast majority of people in any country just follow the leader and don't think. Of course nobody is going to rebel against this. It's been this way with CDR disks forever. They got an additional tax based on capacity, and people mostly live with it - sure a few try to avoid it. But most of the time its baah.
If you can't get it to work, ... you are probably running a PC. It seems that the version that mplayer generates is not compatible with XVid (I also have a hardware chip and it can't play it either..)
intellectual property rights foster innovation, creativity and economic opportunity Except it doesn't foster innovation or creativity, its all about making money - usually by slightly amoral means.
Yeah, I'm not talking about supply and demand. But the OP seemed to believe that something could only have value if it was hard to get or you get it randomly - and I disagreeed with that.
Want a game where professional farming doesn't go on?
Then get a game where everybody can get everything. If there is even one obstacle in the way it will reduce enjoyment for many people and they will try to find the path of least resistance, including paying - if they have money.
They are sick. These people deserve treatment.
Probably didn't explain it very clearly. ;)

That's who.
.. when the trailer came out it shot up to 19.
Why don't you go see SOMETHING DIFFERENT then, instead of hoping they'll screw it up for us fans...
Thanks for nothing.
...the story had mentioned what "Tiger" actually was...

It's time for Star Trek to die.

No, its time they hire someone ELSE to producee it. Perhaps someone like me
So you are a toydarian, eh?
If you don't like the film you must be lying - impressive logic.
What does religious right really have to do with people pirating movies?
Nothing you idiot. Nor did he say they did.
... he is there.. for about 3 frames - behind Mal - about 1 minutte 57-58 seconds in.
Why they don't show him more, who knows, perhaps they think young people don't want to see movies with old people? Or perhaps I'm just cynical.

Actually they are the #1 purveyors of sci-fi. They call it Fox News
But is there any sci isn't it just fi?
....Firefly had better ratings than Buffy and Angel (combined!), but it was on a different network - they had much greater expectations...
And if this is as far as the /. crowd gets to exploring human nature in culture, thats sad.
What's sad is that you think only a few have monopoly on human insight.
I have to ask what the movie is about.
Its a film about people in trouble. Try it, It's good.
...Steam sucks! - Or didn't you know :)
is that you log into google as we..
Please read my original post again. I am stating exactly that point - that it's the playing experience that's important, not the end goals
Oops, sorry about that.

Perhaps his math wasn't very good - there were some other studies which showed you could make quite a lot of money if you did this "professionally"
