Since everybody knows that the US respects no laws and will invade anyone at a drop of a hat, Wikileaks took precautions by putting up a large *encrypted* file called "Insurance". Presumably everybody has downloaded it even though nobody has the password.
And if America tries to have the wikileak people assassinated the password is probably set to spread automatically.
Its not the first time he goes on about how people shouldn't expect privacy. With him at the helm its no surprise Google can't live up to their old (and obsolete?) "do no evil".
Citizens have a right to anonymity Schmidt! Leave Google if you can't accept that.
The Android Market keeps telling me I should update "Facebook" - but I don't have Facebook installed! Its preinstalled!
I have to disable notifications not to constantly get bugged by this, and that means I'm not getting notifications for any of the apps I do in fact have installed!
Google seems to store this information in some secret cloud, because we can't log into this from a PC webbrowser and audit what they think we have on the phone - we are just screwed.
Bloody screw up google! (Which as usual, you can't get in touch with!)
But not a lot, its still a pathetically primitive browse, way behind Firefox. Still can't increase font sizes but zooms the entire page like it was a picture, thereby discriminating against millions of people who don't have the eyes of a 20 year old.
"cause some serious changes in our lifesyles for the worse, i.e. lots of us have to live like peasants while a privileged few of us get rich because of the laws and regulations that make the rest of us live like peasants."
Except that is just tin foil rubbish from uneducated Fox fanboys.
"Compared to that I'll take the serious or catastrophic consequences of global warming, should they come to pass, thank you very much. At least those will be equal opportunity changes since Mother Nature and the Universe don't discriminate when it comes time to bring the pain to those unworthy to survive."
And that too is rubbish, some areas will be a lot harder hit than others. Now get the some education son!
Here we must recycle, its the law - so when we get rid of stuff we take the extra 5 mins to sort it. When the whole country does it, it makes a difference.
"I think I do all of these things for the right reasons, but I'm not under the illusion that my doing so is going to prevent global warming or "save the earth"."
Why do you do it then?
I have no children and never will, and just need the earth last as long as me - then screw it.
"You cannot add developers to a project and make it release sooner"
Of course you can.
"For example, doubling the number of people on a team will quadruple the number of people who can talk to each other, making it much more difficult to synchronize efforts consistently. 50 developers will have 50 * (50 - 1) / 2 = 1225 channels of communication."
Rubbish. Its not a democracy. You have a core who plots the course, and the rest just follow orders or hit the road.
If you aren't young and have perfect eye sight you are screwed, Blizzard continues the proud tradition of not allowing people to set the font sizes in their interfaces. And no, picking a lower resolution doesn't help - either the game won't allow you to, or (like WoW) it resizes the screen so everything is as small in 800x600 as it is in 1280x1080
Could their motto be "At Blizzard we hate people who don't have perfect aryan eyes" ?

And how would the browser know? Magic? Telepathy? Of course the browser has to keep asking the server if there is something new!
"It's also important to note that our goal will be to refer people quickly to a site where they can actually purchase flights, and that we have no plans to sell flights ourselves. "
They are a search company, they have noticed a lot of people are searching for flights - so they are prepared to give you even better results when you are searching for flight, but they are of course, not going to sell the damn tickets themselves.

No, we changed the spelling. Do stop reading books and keep up!
Would you trust that man with a facebook clone?
Unlikely.

I bought an expensive one, and everytime they system was accessing it the whole system froze. Pathetic.
"Jailbreaking iPhone WAS Legal."
Not in America it wasn't. It required circumvention of parts covered in the DMCA which is a law, and a violation of said law thus making it illegal.
Just open a window!

Its not just there, its in all areas - they start something and they never finish it. Its fairly pathetic.
What is "advanced green"? How about explaining what you are trying to explain.
That's nothing compared to how disappointed you'd be if you actually got to play it.

There is nothing more important than relaxing during the times when people aren't trying to kill you.
None of your quotes contradicted what he said.
Of course with copyright law being the way it is, you can't buy - you can only effectively *rent*
