That you actually got modded up doesn't disprove what you said - which is quite right - the groupthink here is sometimes as bad in Invasion of the bodysnatchers.
What better way for an immoral businessmodel than forcing people to pay even more and over and over because they are forced to use an online "application" (no dimwit, clearly its not force right this moment, but it will be - all too soon)
That this is *not* what people have been asking for for years, just a different kind of crap. Who the hell wants to see "kirk the early years" - good grief.
Either its illegal for the students to break copyright, and then so it is for the school - or nobody cares, but you can't have one side allowed to do it while another isn't allowed.
"Obviously the dorks at CBS/NBC/ABC or whomever seem to have missed the point: It's the cheese that makes Trek taste so good after all these years."
I know some people in their early twenties, who fell of the sofa laughing at what the see as totally lousy effects (explanations as to why it looks like that are not relevant) perhaps they may give it a second chance after a brushup?
This seems like mostly a pointless argument about semantics.
People have to train to get good at these games, hence there is a different between who wins and who looses. The games have rules - and sometimes they must be changed for one reason or another - just like many sports games have had their rules changed. The fact that its not particularly physically taxing is not relveant. Sure Merriam-Webster describes it among other things as "a particular activity (as an athletic game) so engaged in" but also "a source of diversion" or "to amuse oneself".
I don't doubt it will come, be profitable - and over time the old sports may well fall by the wayside. New generations form their new rules while the old shake their heads in frozen fury.
That's how i feel about football - there are clearly people who disagree.
Of course there will be people to watch this, as they pointed out it has caught on in other places of the world. Its a new kind of sports, one that won't get you in good shape.
Interact with the developers to have your game customized to your need. Tell them what you like and what you dont. They'll do everything they can to improve the game.
Yeah right, get real. They'll do what they want, and you don't like it you can leave.
Tiny pictures you can't see what is. And then you have to wait for some other guy, so i go to another tab - meaning now he is waiting on me. Lame implementation, and two people aren't enough surely?
It should be just for you, so you set the pace and run through a lot of pics. Then they store the keywords you have suggested and show the pics to other people, when they have 10 sets they can compare and use the ones in common.
After trying this for a while not once did we have something in commong - sorry Google, yet another step towards the dark side.

They don't go the next step, so a lot think its legal - but do they think it should be legal? Ie, now that they have been told its illegal are they going to stop or decide "Well, that law is clearly wrong and i'm not going to follow it" ?

Pity none of it works.
So what do we do ?
You should stop being a bad human being and stop perverting facts.

...meanwhile, hand me the dice Baby - Daddy needs a new pair of shoes!
After having browsed it for 30 seconds I decided that if they can't explain what they do plainly, its probably of no use.
But it doesnt fly:

That they preserve the feel. I felt about StarWars that it was pretty irrelevant, since they were basically just the same.
:)
I want them to change ALOT - make it all seem different.
Guess thats not comming anytime soon

That's a really insightfull comment.
Yeah if you live in asia you've really been had.

Running an MMO costs money. Constantly producing more content does too.
But only a tiny amount compared to what they rake in. Its a great scheme, something like 1000000% profit.
"He's following company policy. "
Except they say it wasn't.
"He works there... it is not his problem, it's the companies."
Yeah and the people in the SS were only following rules.

What's a cap?
Wife? Kids? What is this?
Violent pornography hurts poeple so it should be illegal.
Yeah, just like Bruce Willis killed people when he made movies... on wait - he didn't!
...if you have to disable stylesheets in general, because most sites are badly designed.
...called life?
The average hour long TV show can now be downloaded for 1.99. This is fairly reasonable,
In crap quality. That's far from reasonable 0.10 would still be on the greedy side, depending on the format.
