Jupiter's gravity well is far bigger in influence than all the other planets combined. Jupiter contains 72% of the total mass orbiting the Sun. Small objects are influenced profoundly by Jupiter's gravity no matter where it is in its orbit.
As an example of its magnitude...Jupiter's barycenter of mass with the Sun actually lies at 1.020 Solar radii... not physically within the Sun itself.
I ran Xubuntu 8.10 and 9.04 on a machine with 160 MB of RAM... 8.10 wasn't too bad, but 9.04 was quite sluggish (albeit much more attractive).
Since the I couldn't get WPA working consistently on either release, I decided to give Win2000 a shot... that runs very well and makes the computer quite usable. I never personally used a Win2000 computer back in the day, and it does seem light years ahead of the 16/32-bit Windows branch in terms of stability.
If anything, it makes me realize most of the good NT stuff is already present in 2000, and the later releases added more style than substance. It can still run the vast majority of programs and games, and if anything, can probably run them with better performance than the newer, heavier versions of Windows can.
I'm a Linux convert, but I'll give credit where it is due.
I agree that the piracy card will be played and that we'll see some more fire aimed at Gamestop and that darned used games market.
I find myself playing some old games right now... Grand Theft Auto III, Aerobiz Supersonic and Third World War.
Pedantic... but the word you want is "cue". I don't understand why this is confusing... these words are not homophones.
I suppose it all boils down to overthinking while typing.
I think your point is accurate. I am absolutely certain the eventual goal is to squeeze money out of every second of time the gamers play the game, and the first step towards that goal is to have a means to account for all the time played.
What was free must now be monetized... how else can the business grow?
If you buy a game that was previously a rental from Blockbuster, they don't remove the "PROPERTY OF BLOCKBUSTER" overlay. I have two such games myself. There's nothing illicit about it.
I believe the thing to criticize about the 360 would be the still unresolved RROD problem, rather than its inability to appeal to all the people the Wii apparently does... Nintendo's gamble of using inferior processing muscle, but an innovative control scheme couldn't really have been predicted to be so successful beforehand, and many people think of the Wii as a totally separate kind of product from the PS3 or 360.
In my city, bike lanes were recently placed in the middle of the street on several one-ways which run north-south. A large area of downtown's sidewalks are supposed to be off-limits to bikes... but I personally always use the sidewalks, which are very wide and only heavily trafficked near the bar area at night. Riding amongst the cars is very intimidating, and on at least two of these bike lane streets, drivers going straight down the street are forced to change lanes in order to avoid lanes which end in a turn, forcing them to change lanes across the bike lane twice in the course of two blocks.
I ride in the street on residential streets which have narrow/bumpy sidewalks and no ramps at intersections, but I prefer the sidewalk along any busy street. Front and back lights are required at night, although I see no more than 25% of riders actually have them.
I first learned about this, and many other cool end of the war vehicles, from the Sega Saturn hex-strategy game Iron Storm... which is an English port of the Japanese Dai Senryaku series.

You forgot to capitalize LORD... otherwise, good job.
... and they would be right.
By then TPB is scheduled to be in the hands of its new owners... assuming that deal plays out. I'll get it from Demonoid.

I, for one, welcome our (318 times as massive as our planet) planetary overlord.
I'm a Dvorak typist, you insensitive clod!

They exist to apprehend criminals... which is not at all the same thing.
Upper 70s??? I'd go for that. I've had about enough of this 100 degree BS here.
This would be the perfect Linux for my girlfriend's 9-year old daughter.
You can get security fixes for Windows even if your copy can't pass WGA... so even n00b pirates can be secure.
Any real pirate will, of course, be using one of the many available ways to circumvent WGA, and they can upgrade just as the legit users can.

Trolling has moved to story tags apparently...
Thanks for the link.
The graphics issues with 9.04 have been fixed for many Intel chips... my 965 works great now. Give it a look.

I had the exact same problem! Trying to get that perfect frame to use as a wallpaper was a total PITA... :)

Just signed.
Yet... trust me, they will be bankrupt within 3 to 4 months with the current depressed state of new car sales in America.
Ford got in trouble before the depression started, and sold off their assets while they still had value. That was dumb luck, not foresight.

A great game!
The parent is a troll because it's nothing more than copypasta.
Indeed! The torrent sites have been getting all the flak, but direct download sites seem like the low hanging fruit to go after.
The only reason to pay for their services is to access copyrighted material... that seems like monetizing copyright infringement to me.
I'd like to see Google get caught up in this, because they have more than enough money to defend themselves.
