I have three cell phones. My wife and I use anywhere from.5 to 1.5 GB of data a month each. My 17 yo daughter on the other hand, 14-18 GB a month, mostly cause she is on it 24/7 and streams music when she is out.. I was on the 18GB plan and bumped it to the 20GB plan for another 20/month cause she kept going over. Screamed about it till I was blue in the face. nothing. Got the family manager and locked her down to 14 GB a month. when the lock went in she wasn't able to text to all her Group Messages and blew a gasket!..
So yes, it is very easy to use 24GB of data.. Imagine adding two more teens to my situation...LOL

I bought one of these as I read tons of books on my Kindle. I bought it for the ability to surf web so I didn't have to lug my laptop around. It's got apps so my daughter is happy with it. I can stream movies from Amazon on it. I use it daily and as an entertainment device, it is outstanding. Web pages are slow to load, but other than that, it is doing exactly what I bought it for. Battery life could be better, but such is life...
I have no need to root it, as I bought it for what it can do, not what it could do.. Seeing as most of the users who buy this use it similar to myself, I'd say it was a great buy!
Bullshit. That's exactly what SOPA is intended for. It's the first step on the way to giving the government/corporations the ability to stifle dissent. A simple claim of "His site has links to pirated material, your honor" and a pile of 100's and lo and behold, here's your order to pull the site and seize the domain. NO EVIDENCE NEEDED. That's the scary thing about this. How many judges out there do you think are going to actually check it out before rubber stamping it.
Do you honestly think if they do find any signals, that the government would let it be known.. This could very well be a coverup. I put nothing past them.

I mean they might not be intelligent, but life will find a way no matter what, thinking life only exists here is just plain stupid. I'm not claiming they came here to abduct people and shit like that, just suggesting out of all the solar systems out there, do any of you really believe that life only exists here ? To me that's just being naive.
