You think thats bad, in ireland in 1979 there were so many drivers on provisional learners licences that the government decided to give an amnesty for everyone on their second permit.
So right now of our 50+ aged population theres a signifigant percentage of them driving who have never passed a test.
Not only are they getting old, but they are also incompetent
It really is about time the irish government invested in improving connectivity. we are so far behind the average we may aswell be hand delivering packets.
Maybe now i can get an affordable internet connection.
Its an excellent dissection, i just bought a new elite in march. now ill have to try sell it and get one of these. Just the drop in noise alone makes it worthwhile for me.
i beg to differ, some of my most fun times were in small ships. even now when my corp go out hunting i encourage everyone to leave their big toys at home and bring small ships.
Small ships are win!
dont like slowing people down? train for a stealth bomber instead, you can be a cloaky bomber within a month. Nothing says i love you like a bomb in the face!
I finished an IT security & Responsibility training day on friday and heres what i learned.
In my company any passwords i have for any part of the system are my property and my responsability to maintain and protect.
My boss can not ask me for my passwords, in order for him to gain access to my system he has to go through an 'e-share' system of approval from our IT department and they allow or disallow it based on his actual need to access my files.
If my employment is terminated for anything other than misconduct i get a months notice and in that time i have to wind down any operations im involved in and hand over the keys to whoever is taking my place.
--- In the case of misconduct my pc is confiscated and im escorted from the building. The pc is sent to a data retreival company and any/all relevant info is sent back to employer and then the pc is wiped and returned.
2 weeks later i get a box in the mail with my personal effects left in my desk.
---
Now i havent been fired yet;) but i know someone who has gone through the process and from all the companies ive worked in this company is my favorite for IT security.
I've been keeping track of Terry's case and i fully support his decision not to hand over passwords to critical systems to someone who was a) Not authorised to have them b) Not qualified to maintain the system they belong to
I too play eve, and have also played wow while training a 90 day skill;)
I took part in a pvp raid that had roughly 100 people between both sides. The lag was unbearable and people were 'warping' around the area and 'rubberbanding' a LOT.
Over my 4 years playing eve I have only seen the lag situation getting better. In the Last year I have been involved in many lag-free 400+ player battle.
---
As said the benefit of eve over wow is the lack of sharding and sandbox nature. the attraction to wow is it's ease to play and casual side.
May it stay that way because frankly I wouldn't want eve to have x million subscribers because that would force CCP to pander to the lowest common denominator and dumb down the game.
i was kicked off ESAT's 'no limits' service back in 2001 because i used it too much/was a heavy user. shortly after they instituted a time cap on the 'no limits' service.
in hindsight im sure i could have brought them to court over the trade discription.

Congratulations, you are one step closer to the crystal dome and you will have an extra five seconds when we get there!
Whiskey was invented to prevent the irish from ruling the world

It was S.E.A.L. Quake not Action Quake
Although my favorite quake mod was malice.
Most of the culture novels would be unfilmable
Dune->Dances With Wolves->Fern Gully->Pocahontas->Avatar->Dune
Google being a paragon and all that.
The film started the same way as the book, the book being an historical account by Irulan.

Godwins Law
if this were to happen it would be a simple case of setting fire to the runway so planes could land using the flames as landing lights.
its been done before, in washington.
I totally agree
However there are more stories in the universe, if only they could be told without a cheesey script (rangers) or poor visual effects.
D&D books must be freeware then?

Im more interested to know if this will allow for a cure/treatment for muscular dystrophy.
My friends heart started to go over the weekend and he is being fitted with a pacemaker today. Hes 19 years old and suffers from MD.
