    Despite the pretending on here, it doesn't run most of the software that people and organisations want to use. Change that and Linux will start to make serious inroads.

    I have done this hundreds if not thousands of times on Windows and I've yet to experience any data corruption. Do that on "user-friendly" macOS and it has a nervous breakdown.

  4. We've had 70 or so years of not letting the poor starve and we've seen unparalleled improvements in technology, lifespan and standard of living as people who could've died young are now creating things. I don't understand why these morons want to throw that away.

    I don't remember UBI in any of Orwell's work and all of us are dependent on the state to some degree.

    Mate I could have a far easier job for a lot less money but I don't. Why? Because I want a better life than that income would buy me. The idea that everyone would stop working because the government gives them a relatively small amount of money is laughable.

  14. The earth will be fine. Whether we will be is another matter. If our food and water supplies are threatened lots of people will either starve or move. Better build that wall around the whole of the US.

    No what he specifically said was there was no evidence of collusion and insufficient evidence to bring a charge of obstruction of justice. Let it go.

    Mueller said that there was no evidence of collusion after a thorough 18 month investigation. If you have evidence there was collusion then you'd better let him know as soon as you can.
