That's the answer - throw more hardware at it. Heaven forbid devs should write efficient code.

Telling in that the Leslie Jones story was international news and was a sign of the evils of the alt right and white male misogynoir whereas what happened to Jennifer Holliday was largely unreported because it didn't fit that narrative. You shouldn't have had to do any searches for it - it should've be decried loudly on the usual platforms but it wasn't. I'm not getting at you personally, but rather at the shitty double standards.

The fact that you haven't heard about it is telling. The way she was treated was as unacceptable as the treatment of Leslie Jones but because she was on the "wrong" side it's not news.

Mainly because I was appalled, firstly at her treatment, and secondly because she felt she had to apologise to her abusers. That's so wrong and yet I don't see any outcry or demonstrations on her behalf. This is why I find it so hard to be part of the left even though my politics will always lean that way.

The way she was treated was disgraceful and yet there's no demands for redress or criminal proceedings because it's not racism or misogyny when "our side" does it.

If you don't care about being literally Hitler just because you're a white male and if you don't care about story lines having "diversity" shoe horned into them then don't worry about it. It did bug me for a while but now I don't read it and I buy games on their merit not their political agenda.

Our current civilisation is based around growing food in the current climate. If that changes dramatically before we can find new food sources the consequences will be devastating. Some humans will no doubt survive but how well will our civilization cope with such a shock.

Zero improvement? How can you possibly make that statement. Just the move to 64bit is worth the upgrade, not to mention all the security hardening (yes I know it's still shit but I'm comparing 7 to XP).
