Since when did book-learned college students accomplish anything? Look instead to the dropouts and the kids who went to the lower, more "technical" schools.
This is like asking "I don't like to spell the word 'the', can I spell it 'teh' instead?" A new sentence begins with 2 spaces after the preceding period. It's like, a rule or something.
As much as it cost you (or someone) Back In The Day, it's relatively worthless now. If you need a home server, buy a hackable router or SheevaPlug and go from there. For power, space, cooling, fan noise, you are just wasting your time.
Even Dread's killer gear was vulnerable to timing attacks. Of course he had a two-factor text&speech combination that the (arguable) heroine managed to get just by accident, but still - vulnerable to a timing attack.
What conclusions can you draw from 2 mice fighting, that might affect humanity? Other than "2 males fight and castrate one another over territory" - except wait, humans don't do that. This is cruel, and merely an excuse to burn grant money.
While its all charming and cool to come up with an "open source house" - there are many pitfalls/roadblocks to just coming up with your own home design. Most of us call that "The Real World".
If I buy something, I own it. Period. If you want to diddle around and chip away at what you will let me buy, then I will buy from someone else, or not at all. Now please DIAF, ??AA.
Do you even need WEP? Anything interesting you do online is SSL based anyway, right? Do some simple WEP and MAC address locking and you keep people from stealing your wireless, and be done with it.
How about trolling?
Once you mentioned 'in verse', you went to the gay side.

It's like an old Hypercard game, or Myth, you just wildly click on random things and then sometimes things happen. Who would pay for that?

Slow news day ??
You sound gay.
Who knows? Maybe both?
Untrue. My cable router is owned and maintained by me. Aren't sweeping generalizations fun?
I've seen this before - Ripley probably disabled the cooling as part of the self-destruct sequence.
Rolling resistance and cost, you idiot.
I guess it didn't have enough settings - I'm sure they were looking for a 'Death Star' setting, for the truly pesky insurgents.

Great, all those earpiece douchebags can talk longer and louder, and Minivan Mommie can swerve around in traffic even longer.

If you're outside, you should, you know, be outside, doing outsidey kinds of things.

All inputs aren't equally bad - in fact the third input is usually pretty good.

This is slashdot - nobody cares about your recommendation for anything, especially something on MS Windows.
DEP should be handled by the operating system, not the apps. This is the philosphy which has made Windows such a mess over the years.
Sucks for you to be an early adopter then doesn't it. My RCA cables work just fine, thanks.
