I am sure the term must of been coined awhile ago, but I learned the term from a housemate of mine who *HATES* technology. Like more private matters...everyone has their favorite term for things and everything else sounds strange or disgusting.
It is impossible to put anything on a ballot through an online petition. Each federal, state, county and local governments all have strict laws on how petitions are to be conducted and how many signatures are needed.
Most petitions I have seen are ineffective unless someone is paying hundreds or thousands of people to canvass...though online petitioning has played a monumental role in the Net Neutrality battle.
They will let me earn points to spend in the store? I won't actually be penalized for not having any money?
I understand that all of you 'hard core' gamers are upset that you will have to deal with all the kids, but as a college student I really only play video games every once in awhile anyway.
I have tried and hated most of those 'free' MMO's, and am not willing to sell my soul to the gods of Blizzard. I hope this game is everything it says it is, and if so, I will click on whatever ads they ask.

Publishers just need to boycott Amazon if they don't want to be swallowed alive whole. Look at Walmart, who regularly forces it's will on suppliers and companies whose products they sell.
This is one the the wisest investments Tata has ever made, and will fill an important niche in Indian urban living.
The economic difference between the rich and the poor is so vast, that if you are making 10k+ a year you are very rich by a normal villager's perspective...the problem is unless you are living in a rural area, there are not many places for you to live unless you want to live other than the slums or in a wealthy neighborhood.
Of course this is just a generalization, but if you ever go to India, and truly experience it outside of the MNC bubble, you will see why something like this is needed.
Thank you for investing the effort in explaining this.
I spent a year overseas and I had to tell everyone I was a Canadian until I got to know them. When I was in Europe, that didn't work so well, so I just had to memorized a speech such as yours and got on my knees to grovel.
I understood everyone's aggression, but the rest of the world needs to understand that many of us did fight. I've fought these wars the best I can since we invaded Iraq...but protest doesn't work when your government doesn't listen and the people are too comfortable.
This economic crisis is uncomfortable, but it is what America needs. Pain develops character, and many of us just shrugged their head at the pain we caused, and just changed the channel. School may become to expensive for the majority of us, but this is a period of time that will leave an indelible mark on American society.
People need to stop wanking. Complaining about how horrible our country is just goes to show that you are just as much at the mercy of your governments as we are. Who is the bigger fool, the fool, or the one who follows? The Patriot Act is nothing when you look at the UK.
Stop complaining and do something, fight the system and stop changing the channel.
Why does nobody point out that this man is simply fear mongering? I am sure we all agree that we need to work on further developing and protecting our infrastructure, but this guy writes as if he is talking about Pearl Harbor or 9/11.
A large portion of their contractors are really contracted through temp companies. For example, I install computers in the Microsoft offices through one company while testing Xbox 360 hardware/functionality through another.
I never received one of these letters, it was answered for me.
I would also like to note I have barely had work for the last couple months, and it is terrible. Microsoft is a corporation which uses its contractors as fodder in order that it doesn't get the media that is normally involved with laying off employees.

Let's just leave the guy alone, there is no need to be gawking all over him as if he was a pregnant Brittney Spears.
I thought Google's motto was 'Be Not Evil'?

hehe, perhaps I should just meet Brian up here in Seattle. Do you have his address too?

You have to remember the context. People are riding with three men, a woman and her baby all on a single motorcycle.
And tell me how this is worse than when they cram 7-8 people in a single 'took took'? Those things are like three wheel baby golf carts!

I bet the British wish they had this option before they installed XP on their submarines ;)
Giving win7 away for free, and selling 'secure' copies of XP. What better way to fight international open source adoption?

Hehe, I am doing my part by hitting f5 every few seconds!
