True. When MP3s FIRST started taking off I was still using my 486dx2 with a whopping 32 megs of ram. I continued to use that system for another year after discovering MP3s. Ripping was pretty much infeasible so I used napster (later on when I found it) for all my mp3 and music, in general, needs.

I would really be interested in the release of Cheney's Energy Task Force report. It was funded in the months leading up to the Iraq war and the results have never been released (which is illegal because it was funded with taxpayer money).

Easy there cowboy... if you put anyone in complete control for more than one term you're going to get the same results. It's how the system works. I think it would be great to have democrats in control, but only for so long before we start seeing the same types of power grabs and pork barrel spending. What we really need is to get rid of the two party bullshit. They're two sides of the same coin anymore.

Easily said. Not so easily done. There are many businesses out there that can't even figure out how to lock down their MTAs and prevent asynchronous bouncing, let alone deal with an enormous influx of spam, which surely they won't see coming. Hell I worked at an ISP as the sole Abuse department tech, and that was plenty bad enough at the time, but after something like this... makes me glad I quit.

I grew up there myself, and I tell you, the casinos are an amazing break from the drab flat field after endless field. :P But in all honesty, the reason Deadwood is such a run down little dump is probably because the only people that live there that DON'T work in the casinos, blow all their money in them.

Also South Dakota has a few reservations... so that also makes a lot of sense.

I've had much success with "internet dating", but it seems to depend on where I live. When I lived in Houston the girls were plentiful and fun. Living in Des Moines is a completely different story. The only ones I get replies from here are trollish freaks that probably couldn't get a date if they didn't post fake pictures of some model, or at least some hot chick from down the street. I'm still amazed at the enormous differences in both quality and quantity of women from the online world between the two cities.
