Current VIP subscription that includes 500Mbps internet, home IP TV, phone line and optional video surveillance system costs just 91 USD (translation form Latvian) Haven't checked that, I'm still satisfied with 100Mbps + IP TV for about 36 USD

    My GF last week infected my computer indirectly but through video. After downloading file from suspicios source and opening it with VLC it showed that it can only be seen through windows media player. When she opened with wmp it asked to download codec to play file. And wolla, what a surprise - codec contained worm or something. I spent whole evening cleaning up the mess.
    If I remember correctly it was TrojanDownloader:ASX/Wimad.CN

    Name one please. To my understanding there is no any communist regime that is not dictatorship for one simple reason, communism is against human nature. You cant force people to give up their material values only by reasoning with them. On other hand grandparent is wrong too. you can have dictatorship without communism. Take a look on modern Russia for example.

    There is one more zero emission option - green fuel (wood) power plants. Don't know about US, but we in our small country (Latvia) are planing to have some. Of course there are emissions, but this is the same CO2 that was absorbed by the same tree not so long time ago.

    Am I wrong or something, but I think that at those times you measured the canon by the size / weight of cannon ball not the cannon itself. Did a little calculation. If barrel diameter 4'' and assumption that diameter of ball is almost the same and that cannon presumably will use iron (100% clean) cannon balls I got 1.7 pounds.

    Jeah, I'm not a physicist and I know, that I'm spoiling my karma right now, but seams that they just made up some very generic "function" with N attributes and every time result does not match, they say- "Hei, change that attribute" or "Take 8 dimensions instead of 10" or "Fold 5th dimension that way". Come on, even y = ax^2 + bc + c almost match with y=sin(x) in some particular region of x if you set up a's, b's and c's correctly.

    Definitely yes, my Compaq 6715s (Radeon X1200 Series) does not boot unless I press any key time by time during process - some kind of locking I think. Hadn't jet found solution for that. Luckily I found a temporary (as usual) one - keep my HTC p4550 on space button during boot.

The same with asteroids (if don't take into account theory that nearby stars wobble Sun's Ort cloud once in a while), chances are the same for asteroid to strike this year and year after that.
