Fundamentally its would be a client-side hardware modification. and generally only used by the hardcore... maybe not cheating in the strictest terms, but gamesmanship for sure.
but dude, i agree with all of the above. I never notice ammo level til after the gunfight or when i have left "auto switch" turned on and rocket myslef to oblivion.
And the fading out makes a deal of sense too....... Never been in a gun battle myself (obviously) but does make you wonder if anyone can keep track of full mags whilst running hell for leather and trying to aim and dodge too (admittedly most of the gunfights in fps's would be impossible irl im sure).
I have oft thought the idea of health and armour stats are done badly too, coz health just dont work that way. not sure how else it could be one but conteplated some kinda slowdown, vision impairment to indicate degredation in health. and of course hit location related damage....... a'la headshots, but take an arm out and the player gotta switch to a less accurate left arm????

Sorry to troll, but shit, someone had to....
If you don't already know what SeaMonkey is then it's probably of little interest to you
Dang, that sounds elitist. Where is the fun in only learning what we already know and using what we already use???
Is it not the responsibility of the chinese PEOPLE (your emphasis) to fight for themselves the same way any country that fights off oppressions must ultimately do.
No nation can be strong from the ideals of others. Not wishing to troll, this can be seen throughout much of Europe where we are trying to mimic the USA (It may work for the USA, but we aint yanks) and it is faling us. African revolts funded by western money inevitably fall into decline and totalitariansim.
For the record I do not agree with Google's decision and would rather they stuck by their supposed principles
And finally.... How easy we fall into terms of Good and Evil, such intangibles yet we treat themas fact and not merely opinion
Can't talk for other countries cept the UK, but here slavery is rife. We have East European and Asian Sex Slaves, literally forced to come to the country and living 16 to a room and beaten if they dont comply.
We have domestic servants effectively living as slaves after being conned into leaving their homes.
And we have women and children forced into sweat shop conditions for minimal pay and facing only arrest if they complain.
We have far to go til slavery is truly eliminated, and we will never get ther til we all just follow the simple rules of Bill and Ted
I'm not way up on religion myself, but is the notion of a benevolent god really one that is believed??? In my childhood Religious Education, deity mostly seemed vengeful, selfish and highly ego-centric.....
You have a low drivel threshold my good man. I haven't even started. I mean one post was even vaguely on topic (at least in reference to the parent) - i mean, i do wanna know what the margins on hardware are like currently.
As for my Sig,..... from a UK comedian called Vic Reeves. a man who always makes me laugh, even more than people who use AC to ensure there is no way they can be called on their own half assed statements:o)
I thought ALL console companies took a loss on the initial purchase hardware and it was only games and peripherals they cahed in on....? is this no longer the case or was it never ? you may be A/C, but do you perchance have any up to date data on this as I would be interested to see this.. also, if this has changed, around when did it begin to??
Now THAT is good advice! Best buddy stole my router forcing me to turn my under used linux machine into a router/firewall.... I am twice the tech I was (now i canplay minesweeper AND manipulate text based routing tables)
In reality the reason they overclock IS to be able to say they overclocked it.
Isn't this just a definition of one or another form of geek?? More power to them I say. I just sit on my lame ass and mess with in-game settings until it looks right. The oc'ers you talk about are at least doing justice to the game medium by viewing it in the best possible light.
Your argument could be carried to any engineering extreme and indeed most sports and past-times
Both wirters using their own forms of words and spelling to conjur up a feel for the meaning rather than a word. Sure this is mostly representative of "beat" authors, though (i have to move to the brits coz my knowledge of US fiction is poor) we could get into maybe irving welsh or even shakespeare. both of whom use experessions and word groups never touched by "serious" authors before..
Writing is a means of communication and every group of people like to use their own words, be they medics, or techies or lawyers or gamers. PWN3D!!!11!! is much easier to type than "Sir, it would appear that my score is superior to yours" and in the middle of gaming I go for speed not some outdated idea of correct english
Firstly, Dell are making professional IT engineers with large Dell contracts jump through hoops before repairing PC's. They will not come to resolve our 270 issues until we have catalogued the Diagnoisis failures for each PC and swapped the various comnponents out (this is on a same day repair contract). I have been doing this for years, I know what a blown capacitor looks like and I know the symptoms of these machines.
Secondly, We have 30-40 machines down at the moment in my building alone. Out of 200 public access PC's this is a great loss. We no longer have the machines to replace them with whilst waiting for Dell (our usual policy, because we accept computers break occasionally). this would not be a major problem if we had only a few scattered around, but every cluster of PC's we have is currently kitted out with these machines and severly impeding our ability to provide a full service.
I feel your pain man, I too am waiting for my UK pre-order..... (telling me it will be despatched on tuesday). Got a copy of the ISO sat on my work box but can't get in to collect it (not sure if i want to though).
I have oftern wondered about this time delay and its affect on piracy though, I frequently find myself downloading games rather than wait a week or 2 til all my US friends have played them already.
I love the feeling of opening a new game on the bus on the way home from town (have to be at my coffee table with a joint in this day of online shopping), and reading the manual before i even get near the PC. In all honesty it is the manual I am holding out for, such a valuable docuemtn in previous civs i have found.
Sure i could have spelt it correctly, but this gives me the chance to justify it as the creation of a new word that is an amalgam of Alternative and Ulterior...
For the sake of reference, in the UK at least, any person working with sexually extreme material (violence, paedophillia, masochism) is usually required by the authorising body to undergo psychiatric checks to ensure no alterior motives exist, or to pre-empt and issues arising.
Fundamentally its would be a client-side hardware modification. and generally only used by the hardcore... maybe not cheating in the strictest terms, but gamesmanship for sure.
personally i dont mp so it dont bother me at all
I hate "i agree posts"

If only this were true.

Oh for a Mod Point.
thanks for making me smirk
The problems seem to exist for 2 reasons.
Firstly, Dell are making professional IT engineers with large Dell contracts jump through hoops before repairing PC's. Nah, the sport is quality.
It always has been and always will be a comic and has never tried to be anything but. The other though think they are actually newspapers.
(/me stays schtum on the Daily Mail)
