    That's the problem with these ivory tower types, the Marie Antoinette "let em eat cake" thing, they just can't get it! It's the same in San Francisco, CA a broom closet in a vermin infested slum is $800 a month in a city contracted "wino hotel". A two bedroom condo in a nice area like Russian Hill (no free on street parking) will cost >$1M Who can afford this?

    And having seen many lives saved by airbags I vehemently rebut your assertion and would use simple statistics to show that while any death of a child is terrible, thousands of lives saved stand as testimony to the efficacy of the automotive airbag.

    Just because you (MPAA, RIAA) are "safely" protected by the bought and paid for US government does not protect you anyplace else!

    The US Government tightly controls ALL media, the Internet and foreign news are the only way Americans can access the truth about ANYTHING!
    Most Americans are kept happily distracted by lots of shiny new toys they cannot afford and tend not to care about or understand almost everything.
    Due to the USofA's atrocious educational system (fund prisons not schools) 60% of college educated Americans (undergraduate) can't find their location on a geographical map (no text) or tell you what the three branches of government are.

    In summation, the population is too apathetic, too distracted and too ignorant to go "all Egypt"!

    I was a contractor when they were working on this "next gen" 64bit CPU everybody was excited, then later when I read about it, I couldn't understand where this new architecture would fit. Then X86/64 came out and there really seemed to be no place for it.

    IMHO, don't throw good money after bad.

    If you have "business" class service you can ALWAYS have your provider unblock all ports to your static IP address (they should be unblocked by default) and when you are registered in DNS running your own BIND server or even caching name server, your emails will not be rejected when the recipient does a reverse DNS lookup.
