    Yes! In the sixth grade, I built a crystal set radio for science fair and in the eighth grade I passed my FCC Ham radio license exam and built a Morse base station Heathkit for science fair.

    Neither of the above examples were out of the ordinary for the time (early 1950's).

    How's about a show trial where some pusgut, shitspouting, self-important, prosecutorial, pompous little shit, prances, mugs and pontificates, demonizing these or some other poor bastard who for one reason or another just happened to be the sacrificial "goat" to be made into a corpse/example/prisoner so that careers can be advanced and the semi-literate and only slightly/not interested can be (persuaded/lied to) that killing/imprisoning/torturing/deporting "funny looking" people or sometimes just anybody handy makes them "safer"!

    It's mass calculations and core composition is as stated, it'd be a bitch if it threw a fit and sent out a sweeping gamma burst (think of a lighthouse but with a gamma beam a trillion times more intense than anything yet experienced) it might have lasted only for a year or so as the core of the resulting neutron star stabilized.

    Why are we broke?

    What's in the future for America? The rich will get exponentially richer and everybody else will suffer. The bankrupt aging paranoid "war state" will become more repressive an draconian and we will hear daily about the boogieman du-jour and more about protecting "the children" and "freedom" "terrorism/terrorists" "for our own good". There will be more and more "shadowy EVIL organizations" that need to be "fought".

    What amazes me is that anybody believes this shit, considering what we all know about the last forty years!
