If there is developing life on Mars, what do suppose the odds are one of the Mars Rovers (or future rovers) running it over to get a closer look? Tragic I know, but this is NASA we're dealing with.
Here's my take on it. The companies started making all these "mistakes" that net them some extra cash. While all this is nice and lovely, there is going to come a time when the trial lawyers take them to task for some outrageous zillion dollar settlement. Everyone will be part of the class action suit. The companies will lose the case, which means the lawyers will earn about a zillion dollars while the people may get a penny or two. I'm sure somewhere along the lines the lawyers work out some kind of kickback to the companies so they aren't really out a zillion smackers. To summarize:
Consumers get screwed Lawyers sue Lawyers get rich Consumers happy Lawyers compensate companies Companies don't change a thing Consumers still get screwed - but are happy about it
repeat ad infinitum
The only thing left is to start your own business and write everything off as a business expense.
I guess we all knew that SCO was going to go after the 1994 settlement somehow. Destroying the findings from 1994 would definitely clear the way for more madness. However, Wasn't it determined that AT&T/USL was stealing code from BSD and incorporating it into System V? That is going to be a hard fact to invalidate, although SCO lately has show little regard to the facts. Does anyone have a better grasp of how SCO could possibly invalidate the 1994 settlements and its findings?
With each article, I am more and more convinced that Darl was watching Iraqi's information minister spouting off his stuff and thinking to himself "You know, that guy's really on to something..." Perhaps Darly boy will end up in the same place too.
I haven't got a single SoBig e-mail yet. I guess our FreeBSD mail server is smacking all those messages down, which means I have to... get... to... work...

Dude, you must have got good production run of Axims. My co-worker is on his third Axim. The first one plain didn't work and the second would continually soft reset on him. I guess the third time's the charm though his isn't seeing anywhere close to 6-8 hour battery life.
Taco's redundant bit must be set. Can someone at./ unset Taco's redundant bit? If that doesn't work, then just smack him a few times. Works for my dad's TV (the smacking that is).
You can buy an X-cell 60 Chopper, build it, and fly it without the aid of MIT researchers for less than $2k., including aerobatics.
I just thought I would add that bit of information since landing and takeoff of radio controller helicopters are arguably the most difficult thing to learn to do.
Also, companies have produced camera/camcorder mounts for these types of helicopters too.

Enlightenment sure brings back memories. I'll have to try it out sometime if I ever decide to give up my powerbook.

Can you clarify what you mean by 12 sells and 0 buys. How can you sell something if no one buys it? I didn't know the stock market was that magical.
Yay.
