    yes, you can find a lot of technical details how they appear to comply and in a way I understand apple likes their innovation but seriously, why can't they make a standard usb cable like all the other manufacturers... imagine if all outlets in homes were slightly different? Standards are good. The EU has a valid point.

    More on point... if you are going to broadcast open packets for everyone to peruse freely... even outside your house, it is like doing something illegal in public and complaining about being caught for it and any witness is illegally watching over your privacy. If it was a secured network, then yes, it would be illegal snooping

    oh anyone can complain... but given I use php on a daily basis, I definitely would welcome any improvements :)

    i don't necessarily agree with all the changes that guy wants though... and having had to port code from version to version, I can certify that the breaking compatibility on a regular basis is really annoying, not necessarily making things more secure... or there could have been alternatives providing less pain
