ok I buy the reasoning behind not letting everybody see where you browser... but come on... what have you got to hide ? and who here doesn't know how to hide it if they want to ?
just "let it be" stop thinking everybody is after you.... allllllot of the comments here look like they are written by CIA spies who are handling state secrets.
nobody gives a fuck what you are browsing... ok, so you google for "teen girl panties". ItÂs not a state secret, nobody gives a fuck.
and yes i'm drunk and fed up with the "don't browse unless you use TOR" crazy crowd.
I agree, in the short term it will probably pay off. And maybe when the economy turns around, they can lift the fee. Also allowing people to read 1 story per day for free by registering would be sensible.
So close-knit in fact that I know some of the current ministers, and they all oppose this line of action by the current CEO of Kaupthing, and my prediction is that he has maybe 2-3 months left in office. They will let this slide, then find some other reason to let him go. He's totally done for. This man is exceptionally stupid to think that he can stop Wikileaks from making the information available. The only defence he can possibly have, is if he was legally bound to try to stop it. Which is probably not the case, but it's coming up in court in Iceland this week. They got the ban for one week, and have to make a pretty strong case if they are going to upheld it.
I don't think it will happen. Some people predict a revelution in Iceland if that happens. I won't go so far as to call it a revolution, but hit will fhit the san.
Always someone asks this question for every article.
Should be noted that this is filed under IDLE - which seem to be all sorts of stuff, if you don't like it, filter it out. If you don't like KDawson posting - filter it out. (I don't understand what the big deal is with that btw. Can't see any big difference between his articles and other - interpret that as you wish:)
Thank god, I haven't done phone support since 5-6 years ago...
Yes. Thank you. These point-and-click developers and system administrators need to actually learn what it is they are doing underneath that click.
But i'm just talking about me, just because I use a window system how can I not understand what's going on underneath ? Or why would people have a greater understanding of notepad.exe or nano if they start it by typing nano/notepad or by double clicking an icon ?
And wahoooo I got modded flamebait. I thought I would feel dirty, but it actually just turns me on.
Should it be illegal to scam people in the game ? As I understand it - this is part of the game, scamming people.... Then he broke the EULA - and they kicked him out of the game... Any real world consequences are not justifiable in my opinion.
What I don't really get is - why the buyer isn't kicked out as well... surely 200 billion ISK in EVE can't be that hard to trace... or do they have money laundering services there ? How on earth would they work in a log-all virtual world.
Golgafrincham is a red semi-desert planet that is home of the Great Circling Poets of Arium and a species of particularly inspiring lichen. Its people decided it was time to rid themselves of an entire useless third of their population, and so the descendants of the Circling Poets concocted a story that their planet would shortly be destroyed in a great catastrophe. (It was apparently under threat from a "mutant star goat"). The useless third of the population (consisting of hairdressers, tired TV producers*, insurance salesmen, personnel officers, security guards, management consultants, telephone sanitizers and the like) were packed into the B-Ark, one of three giant Ark spaceships, and told that everyone else would follow shortly in the other two. The other two thirds of the population, of course, did not follow and "led full, rich and happy lives until they were all suddenly wiped out by a virulent disease contracted from a dirty telephone".

Still free though.
I don't mind giving up the fact that I'm from Greenland, my income consists mostly of seals and other cute animals.

And if they were using some open source technology to do content filtering / packet sniffing etc...?
Damn you!
Oh, come one. Like you need to see a f*cking expert to know what is healthy and not.
It's very basic, the more the food is processed, the worse it is.
Fish healthier than meat.
Carrots healthier than fries.
Water healthier than coke.
Eat a variety of vegetables and fruits, don't eat food from somebody serving nearly 47 million customers daily.
That will be 140$

Good question... Why....
On my win2003 server, I right click, go to properties, change some permissions... or whatever...
Is it better to use "chmod 777 bleh/blah"
How is that superior ?
Great minds tell stupid jokes ?
Me too, man.
How hard is it to ban the purchaser ?
At some point the "money" must exchange "hands".
How can you be anonymous(to the operators) inside EVE ?

DonÂt they reproduce by cloning ?
Is there any evolution going on for them still ?

"By "fingerprinting" DNA of the ant species - Mycocepurus smithii - they found them all to be clones of the colony's queen."
Shameless rip from Wikipedia:
