I already made an invention for the future, I made that reverse microwave!
I need to put freon in it to make it work. It makes ice so fast and makes beer icy cold and pizza too hot makes it a little colder so you don't burn the roof of your mouth.

Also, as practical inventions go, there's the garbage juicer. How it works is quite incredible. All you do is take garbage out of any old garbage bag, and when the lights go on you're ready to go.
The first tap is kerosene. You can use kerosene to burn your sweet mama's panties off.
The second is root beer. Great for Friday night pizza parties.
Last but not least grapefruit juice.

All of the ideas being pushed in the health care reform are leftist because nobody on the right is offering any positive ideas. Their only contribution is in screaming DEATH PANELS! and SOCIALISM! and NAZIS!

And it's "little more than thinly disguised socialized medicine" because it is being promoted as including a socialized medical option. There is no disguise.

There is an enormous gap in your reasoning when you say "once bureaucrats run health care, they run your life."
Socializing health care won't allow them to run your life any more than socialized education, socialized postal services, socialized military, etc.

And for some reason we don't hear about the governments of Western Europe telling people "[w]hat [they] can eat, when [they] can eat it, how much [they] can eat, when, where and what kind of exercise [they] will do, when [they] get up, when [they] sleep. and (if all that wasn't frightening enough) Who lives, who dies, and when they die," despite the prevalence of socialized programs, especially socialized medicine.

Actually, ska came decades before reggae, with rocksteady being an intermediate stage.

Also, the third wave of ska (late 80's through late 90's or possibly still continuing based on who you ask) did effectively meld ska with punk, and many bands that are considered ska bands are simply punk/rock bands with horns. Reel Big Fish, possibly one of the more popular constant ska bands of the last two decades, has released albums with no upbeats, a staple and possibly defining element of ska music.
