People keep banging on about the market share of Symbian but it grew to the size it did as there was no viable alternative. It was good before iOS and Android but it became outdated very quickly. I had a Nokia E71 with which I was very happy but recently switched to a HTC Desire HD which is tons better. The E71 was great up to the point that I replaced it at which time I realised it was flawed, limited and deeply outdated.

Technology filters from rich to poor economies and whilst Symbian might still be viable in developing countries, it will be replaced by Android and iOS in the absence of an updated Symbian variant.

Handling it via social networking site is completely unforgivable.

Dear parent, I am concerned about your son's 'rat-like' appearance. Whilst this does not effect the other children it does make me feel slightly bilious whilst teaching him. As such, your son's presence in class is deemed as disruptive.

In order to address this unfortunate 'problem' I request that your son is sent to school in headwear large enough to obscure his face. In the Summer months a large wide-brimmed would be appropriate subject to the brim casting a full shadow over his sickening rat-like features.

Sony and MS's current offerings are actually unbelievably similar - I don't think I've ever known a console generation where there was less to actually separate two competitors.

Uh what? They are different in every way it is possible to be different while still offering the same basic features.

    • The Xbox 360 is a 3-way SMP system. The PS3 is a CPU/GPU/Coprocessor system.
    • The Xbox 360 has added features with each new major update. The PS3 has removed features with each new major update.
    • The Xbox 360 has motion-detecting equipment (Kinect) which does not require a controller. Sony has motion-detecting equipment which does.
    • Xbox Live costs money, PSN is free.
    • The Xbox 360 is the first console that looks decent compared to the competition, mostly because the PS3 looks like a George Foreman grill.
    • The PS3 uses Bluetooth for wireless controllers, while the 360 uses a proprietary protocol.
    • The Xbox 360 has a helicopter installed as part of the internal cooling - not one of those stealth ones - a LOUD one. The PS3 is much quieter.

    Fixed that for you.

My AMD Socket A PC was great for Counterstrike Source but couldn't cope with Halflife 2 thus ending my PC gaming experience.

Sure, I have enough money now to build a new PC that will cope with new games but the cost of the GFX card alone is more than the entire 360. If you are a serious gamer it is probably worth the investment but otherwise consoles capture both the serious and casual gamer markets not least due to ease of use.

Nope, you must have made that up or 'heard it from a friend'. Does your country carry out a DNA test each time a child is born to establish who the true father is? Generally the father is named on the birth certificate and would normally be the husband/partner of the mother. It has been known for the mother to 'be mistaken' or to lie to avoid embarassment.

Should any claim for child maintenance be made and subsequently challenged by the putative father - the agency responsible for collecting child support will commission a DNA test. If the result is positive, the father bears the cost of the test.

DNA profiling was pioneered right around the middle of the UK and has been exported to the rest of the world. It even works on non-human subjects too in case you are interested ;-)

From experience, Motorola products - particularly cell phones - are not bug-free and are never user-friendly.
