Get back to me when they eliminate their nuclear development facilities. Regardless, none that shit has anything to do with Trump. Lil' Kim wanted to do that stuff for economic reasons.
Seriously, anyone who would reveal such info for vindictive purposes deserves to suffer.
What info?
Fuck this prick.
Stop sucking Apple's.
If he deserves to have his fingers broken for announcing that he has found a severe security problem (but not how to exploit it) what do Apple programmers deserve for creating it with their incompetence? What does Apple management deserve for letting it be created, and for being unwilling to pay bounties, which have been proven effective in getting researchers to disclose bugs to vendors instead of selling them on the black market?
Apple has around $240 billion cash on hand. They could allocate $10 billion to nothing but awards for bug fixes and they wouldn't even feel it. Arguably they could do that every year
Yeah, or they could hire enough people to find (and prevent!) the bugs before they reach customers. But clearly, they don't care enough to do that. And the only way to make them care is public disclosure.
me thinks I know why you get all that E-mail and get victimized by identity theft all the time...You respond.
Mostly, I don't. And those who I do respond to, I'm not giving any additional information to them, so I'm not helping them steal my identity.
DUMP SPAM into the trash. Don't answer, just trash can it.
Yes, that's what I do with spam. Thanks for nothing, AC.
It's quite simple, my identity gets stolen more than those of other people because of my hispanic name. People who have the same name have used my SSN for work, or to buy a car they never paid off. Then a court in Nevada City, CA granted a judgement against my SSN based on that person's debt. The evidence of debt was my SSN written on a check cashing card, by hand no less. The court that accepted that as evidence is corrupt. You can't have identity theft without corruption.
The simple solution is to execute anyone caught selling drugs.
Simple solutions only work for simple problems. Simple solutions are for simple people. Simple solutions are how we got where we are now (pain? medicate to hell and back!)
The war on drugs has proven to be both a sham and a failure. It's a sham because big pharma is permitted or even encouraged to sell bad drugs that don't work right by the legal framework — one which they have purchased. It's a failure by any reasonable measurement.
Countries where they execute drug dealers still have illegal drugs, so your statement is false on every level.
I can't argue about the validity of what they're measuring, but it seems they're measuring the perception of civility. It's entirely possible that people have become more "rude", but others are more willing to put up with it.
TFA makes it clear that people are not becoming more civil, at least if it can be believed. History tells us it's better to believe Fortune than Microsoft, and I'm going to listen.
But there was a dark side to the results. Microsoftâ(TM)s research found people were experiencing more consequences of online harassment, bullying, and unwanted contact. People reported losing sleep, feeling more stressed, and becoming less trustful of people both online and off. Each negative consequence increased three to four points in 2018.
Though it seems thereâ(TM)s a reason why people are feeling like the Internet is slightly more civil than it was in 2017: theyâ(TM)re starting to unplug more. The survey found that 27% of peopleâ"a 4% increaseâ"said all of the negativity has prompted them to spend less time participating on social media and blogs
So just to be clear, harassment, bullying, and unwanted contact are up, and people have stopped using services because of it, but civility is somehow also up? That doesn't even make a small amount of sense.
This is happening to me left and right. I've been the victim of repeated identity theft because of my name. Martin Espinoza isn't exactly the John Smith of Latin America, but it's fucking close. Maybe Mark Smith. And perhaps for the same reason, my email with the dot removed is also being heavily abused. I used to assume it was just some butt-hurt slashbot trolling me, especially since there was a rash of crap that I figured nobody would sign up for on purpose, and maybe there actually has been some of that, but I've also been getting things like lease agreements, or kids' sports information. Then again, that could be phishing too. I like to reply all to those and suggest they verify addresses before spamming, like responsible people would.
" It is their own fault they lack self control, and also their own fault that they looked to fix their pain with pills rather than live with a little bit of pain"
1. People are trained to trust doctors 1b. Doctors are getting kickbacks in exchange for pushing certain drugs 2. Have you ever lived with the kind of pain for which opiates are prescribed? 3. Do you understand that pain affects people unequally? 4. Who hurt you? Was it your parents?
Addicts make poor decisions, like buying unregulated street drugs from people who don't get high on their own supply. The question is how he became an addict. Was it due to prescription drugs? If so, it's really not his fault his brain didn't work correctly.
All these people who got hooked on prescription pain killers and then moved to heroin never once asked for help beforehand. They liked it.
What part of "Addicts make poor decisions" did you find unclear? Which word was it? Or was it a particular syllable?
Did this guy deserve to die? I would say no. But he lived a life where a minor mistake by himself or someone else could snowball into a stupid death. He rolled the dice, and it came up snake eyes.

Yeah, lowest unemployment rate since the 60s...certainly he's "harmed the economy".
A lot of things are lowest right now, like how much money people have in savings. Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, even ones with good jobs like federal workers. And many of those who do have jobs are underemployed, meaning they're going further and further into debt to support their families. Eventually, they'll have to go bankrupt, like a Trump casino, and it will cost all of us money.
The last missile test NK did was 28 Nov 2017.
They haven't dismantled the facilities they use to build the weapons. There will be more tests.
Please point to the warmongering your claiming...would it be Syria or Afghanistan, where he's been trying to pull troops out?
You believe this theater shit? What a tool.
Or, would it be getting NATO to pay it's fair share for their defense?
Corporate America's way of admitting that they've run out of ideas.
Nonsense. It's corporate America's way of dick riding. It was blockchain, but now that bitcoin is being revealed to suck rocks, it's "AI". And when it's revealed that AI isn't AI, it will be something else. No spice company needs "AI" to come up with Tuscan Chicken or Bourbon Pork. Those are already well-established seasonings. A person selected them from a list, even if that list was somehow machine curated, and more humans were involved in the vetting approach — both working in the marketing department, and the people they placed in focus groups and whose opinions were used to determine which spices they'd put on shelves.
China doesn't give a fuck about anything. There is one thing China is really good at: Making millions of copies from a design. What they're really NOT good at is designing themselves.
I'd say engineering, not designing. For example, China is said to have great automotive designers now. Sure, until fairly recently they just copied everyone else, but not any more.
I didn't vote for him but have been pleasantly surprised with the economy,
Trump has only harmed the economy, he hasn't helped it. Even conservative-loved Harley-Davidson has had to move thousands of jobs overseas as a result.
with the progress in the Koreas
You know NK hasn't stopped nuclear testing right?
the fact that he isn't war-mongering in the mid-east.
"Guess what you are doing? You are training Google's AIs. And if you want to use that site, you will bloody do it like a good citizen."
And if you're running a small website, there are few good alternatives, if any. I tried some alternative methods with hidden fields and the like, but they were too easily defeated, and spam started showing up immediately. I'd love to use something else, but so far nothing else works for me.
You can already successfully reclaim most of that energy just with the battery. It works best when the battery is not fully charged, but that also improves the number of charge cycles so Tesla for one is doing it already. Their low capacity packs have spare capacity they're not even using, which improves recharge time since the charge rate decreases as the charge level increases.
If you wanted to fully charge your battery, maybe you'd benefit from a capacitor for regen. But you don't, especially for a city bus, and also for taxis in most scenarios, because you have convenient charging opportunities.
No it's fucking not.
Microsoft: Internet is becoming more civil
Internet: Hold my beer!
Slashdot: Microsoft can stick that fucking beer up its ass
The missile launches have stopped.

There isn't much conformity in the West on anything
Yes...
and in the West hierarchy is one based mostly on competence.
No. That's nonsense. It's based mostly on nepotism.

It's only recently -- the past 5 or so years -- that a certain cadre of very loud right-wingnut boors have shown up
No way. They've always* been here. They've just been emboldened by cheeto mussolini, and made louder. I've been arguing with them all along.

Newer Motos are locked unfortunately. If you contact Motorola for an unlock code, they'll give it to you and then void your warranty in their system.
That's going to last right up until someone bothers to sue them over it. At least here in the USA, that's illegal.

So Apple fixed their own damn rules.
No, they haven't.
They are allowed to do that, you know.
They are, but they didn't. They're just making an exception, because they need to distract from the fact that they fucked up on a grand scale. Again.
This is not true in my country (Slovakia). Wind and solar are 2.96 times more expensive than nuclear.
I heard somewhere that Slovakia is part of the EU. Is it a union, or not? Can't you buy power from nearby equitably?
