    Actually the only thing the iPhone can't do is make calls where the other party can hear you. I don't remember if its a feature or a defect.

    I tried just now and you can not poke the "unfriended".

    I tried to "poke" my sister and asked her to check it since we aren't "friends" and it didn't work.

    Why would you "friend" someone on Facebook if you have a no contact order against them though? I did a quick try and you can not poke people who haven't "friended" you.

    The American Store might not allow a Canadian CC. I would get the Sony IF a Canadian Kindle isn't out by the time you want one and you might hold off till after Christmas for sales around New Years.

    Is it me or would "Text MacGuyver" make a really awesome game? Input several items and the game decides on a random contraption to build with them. I actually googled it first to make sure that you didn't run it through a similar game.

    At the risk of being off topic it sounds like an awesome idea, of course I am playing Scribblenauts right now too which is awesome and similarish.

    The great thing about DVD's and blu-ray discs is that they are not mechanical and not subject to mechanical faliure like hard disks are which is still a significant risk.

    They are optical and scratches will cause loss of data. Of course if you store them and don't use them then you are safer from scratches.

    My AP Physics teacher had us do an assignment like this once a semester where we had to find 1 story where the facts do not add up to the conclusions given, but it had to relate to the topics we covered already.

    They teach this concept in what? The 3rd or 4th grade?

    More like 7th or 8th grade. I kid you not. I was helping my cousin with his 8th grade math and was trying to figure out why they are going over what I learned in 5th grade (not even really long ago, I am a freshman in college now).

    You would have to do the schematics, source code, and stuff in a language that might still be useful later on. I would pick English and COBAL. English would IMHO have the most texts surviving to give cross references and translation for notations on the schematics, and COBAL just seems like good measure unless you print out the binary in compiled machine code as well making the language of the source code irrelevant.
