    I think most of the bad Vista rap was due to its minimal specs was what it was put on initially, it made it seem horrible. I personally got a copy of Vista pre-sp1 to test and it wasn't that bad on my gaming rig.

    If you didn't have to care much about the overall look breadties and the cableties from the packaging work well.

    But if you want it to look better velcro would look best

    I do not recommend my current method of just having the wires running about, they seem to like getting in knots just sitting there somehow.

    They forgot to mention the recharge mechanism involves lightning, that should charge it quickly if harnessed.

    I don't know that you can take the DS ones seriously, they have poor sound quality and involve a good chance of breaking the touchscreen from strumming.

    The more they get into specialized things like this, including laser ignition, the more I worry that I won't be able to be a backyard mechanic any more.

    When's the last you were able to backyard mechanic effectively, at least on a "modern" vehicle?

    Most are locked down to the point that many of the smaller auto garages around my house have closed up because they couldn't afford to get every single piece of hardware/software to work on the new cars.

    Diesel engines work without spark plugs -- they compress the air before injecting fuel; the compressed air is so hot that the fuel ignites by itself.

    My truck has spark plugs, and every "consumer grade" diesel engine I have ever seen has them. So where did you hear of this non-sparking engine?

    However, diesel engines require diesel fuel. They cannot use gasoline.

    Actually several diesel engines can burn gas for short runs(like making in to a gas station). It is a good idea to go get a service check soon afterward because it can screw your system over, majorly.

    The US military has already placed an order for 500,000 of these.

    Each one will be used to store just one file: a 500 kilobyte PDF file that contains a soldier's manual for shining shoes.

    And of course all military computers have usb locked out anyway, so you couldn't use it in any military sense anyway.

    Just another day in the uses for the tax dollar.
