    Why is this marked troll, its a good idea. The major problem I could see is keeping connectivity with the "cloud" even if it was (geographically) locally hosted.

    This is the main reason I use my zune, but I know better than to trust Microsoft with my music that I want permanently so I go buy the music elsewhere if it was good. I really like the channel system and getting to keep up with lots of new music too.

    I agree with this, and it is not like its a new issue to video games at all.

    Crappy indie games from the Atari era killed the entire video game industry in America before. At least now we have better communication to get a check on the crappy games rather immediately.

    Meeting drunk women is the best way. Their guard is down so they're honest and as a bonus you may just get laid after the first meeting. The only catch is remembering if she's a keeper or not the next day.

    The trick there is to not be to drunk enough to forget come morning, but you give the illusion that you are.

    Actually, as much of a PITA as Microsoft is, they've actually made the XNA toolkit available for free to indie developers who want to publish XBox Live games. It's comparatively easy to use, based on C#, and lets you produce a game for the PC and XBox Live at the same time. All you really have to do is set up the controls for both systems.

    Actually, they let you produce a game for PC, Xbox Live and Zune Devices. There is no major distribution for the Zune yet but the codebase is there. I would hope that they add this in when they merge the Zune Marketplace and Xbox Market place when the Zune HD comes out.

    Only time will tell.

    On the one hand that is a good idea.

    On the other hand the media corporations may use it as a way to copyright a voice, even in a way that the original actors themselves can't sound like that out of the contracted uses.
