Claiming those few are the key to success is just plain wrong.
You'd be surprised. IPhone, Facebook, the Steam Community, Blizzard Games, one could argue that a major part in their success was having available tools for the developer community to create new content.
Developers can be an untapped resource in many cases. When someone comes along with a great Idea and implements it through your work - it only increases the value of your product. Guess how much you paid that Hobbyist?
The only reason to lock this kind of activity out is for security reasons.
I wasn't aware TI was under any kind of security threat, least not with their calculators.
We build amazing structures that last over a thousand years of constant wear and we invent photography to capture the awe inspiring moments that such marvelous creations cast upon ourselves, then create computers to recreate their 3D Dimensions almost perfectly in a virtual environment using nothing but our pictures that we've taken and our impressive ingenuity.
They are not trying to "Hide" this information from people, they are trying to get them to pay for it. The third page lists that additional copies may be purchased from the Publishers.
That being said, still pretty bad in my books. I mean the cost should only offset the price of production, and letting it loose on the internet shouldn't cost them money.
Wow - modded to -1 trolling and +4 interesting for saying the same thing. Never had that happen before. Probably because I asked what PC games are selling.
I just don't see any good titles -JUST- for PC these days. I mean, all the titles that Steam advertises to me are A month or Two old games that have been ported from the 360, or they're MMO's. No MMO would work well with an IPhone Interface, least not the half dozen I've played.
So - to reiterate, what good would this IPhone app serve?
Are they creating the interface in the hopes that games will follow? Or do they plan on making PC games themselves to use this interface?
I don't mind the idea of them trying, but unless they get some developers to pick it up off the ground (Like how Nintendo had its developers make Mario Kart Racing) then I don't see this app going very far.
Which is exactly my point. If they made Wii games for the PC - I'd be all for it. But they don't. So in every situation I can think of, a Keyboard and mouse combination trumps on top.
Except for perhaps Racing games, which have all but died off on PC's.
I think they meant True North being "True Magnetic North" and not what "They thought was North" - which is entirely the fault of the people reporting, because a compass doesn't tell you True North.
But a GPS system could - why not make an App for an IPhone
What games are selling for the PC that could possibly have a use for a controller like this?
Wait shorten that, What PC Games are even selling?
I can't see upcoming Blizzard or Valve titles needing anything like this - which are the only two PC Developers I can swear by, because just about everyone else makes a better version for the PS3 or 360.
No. It means the Gravity is so strong that the "force" pulling the light inwards is stronger then whatever force propels light at 300000 km/s. If you imagine space time like a blanket, and gravity from a planet like a tennis ball on the blanket, the curvature thats created in the blanket is like the effect of gravity. Thus if you propel an item along the curve, it will orbit around that tennis ball.
A black hole has been theorized to be a pea on that blanket that is so heavy that the "curve" created in space time is almost vertical or even somehow surpasses vertical - thus not letting light escape. There is a point at which light CAN escape from a black hole, a certain distance away (the horizon as they call it) - which is the point at which the force of Gravity and Light are equal and light is basically trapped there.
However, the strength of Gravity has nothing to do with its SPEED. It's speed is how fast it effects the objects around it. As in, Einstein theorized that it travels at the same speed of light, so we are orbitting around the sun, being pulled in by a force that originated 8 or so minutes before it affected Earth.
Meaning if the sun were to instantaneously disappear - we would orbit in our same path until we no longer saw any light. At least thats the theory. However Gravity could be faster, or slower, there isn't really anything concrete to suggest anything Einstein said was really right.
How does this actually function like an observatory? Aren't our observatories capable of looking at stars and such... aren't these just like... a bunch of satellites floating out past earth tracking "Gravity"? I clearly don't understand how pulsars work.
My middle school provided me with a T shirt and shorts for my gym class. Is this school providing them heart monitors but not gym strips? Thats ridiculous. If they can provide gym strips, why can't they provide a strap.
There are certain supplies that the child will generally have to get for themselves. If the school Enforces a Gym-dress-code they generally have to supply it. I mean it'd be gross otherwise but I haven't seen a situation where the school didn't supply shorts and then forced a kid to wear shorts.
I also had to get my own combination lock - pencil, paper, notebooks, etc. These are items you'll be informed about requiring if need be, usually BEFORE the school year starts. Under the current circumstances, you can still get through school without a combination lock, pencil, paper, notebooks, these are all things that while nice to have are not necessary. A teacher can get upset a kid isn't taking notes, but if the teacher really wants the student to do so the teacher should provide the necessary equipment. Pen and paper are very easy to find in a classroom.
I've seen kids who show up to middle school in nothing but the clothes on them and still make passing grades.

I learned alot from Veggie Tales. Correlation?
Gotcha,
No one here cares.
No matter how much potentially useful information is stored on my computer, no crook would think taking a TS-8100 is worth its weight.
Where does one shop for "beautiful naked women"?
Red light District
Can I claim accelerated depreciation for them on my taxes?
No. Women never get depreciated, only under appreciated.
How many "beautiful naked women" can one purchase for $2.6 billion (less the cost of the island, of course)?
More than you can afford.
Finally, what should the founders of Skype do if their tastes run more towards beautiful naked men?
There's an app for that.
(Just kidding)
Its mechanical, like most guns. And there are multiple Calibers, meaning its more than 1.
... Sitting on the moon during the day or sitting on the moon during the night?
Doesn't the temperature change from freezing the rabbit to frying the rabbit?
That also makes it incredibly easy to write a script that goes through meta data and provides the proper comic strip.
I didn't realize there was a problem.
Aren't humans just awesome?

This is obviously a profitable document.

If university students took it upon themselves to do some advanced neurological surgery as a fun project...
THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.
I hope they would Youtube the procedure.
Hatori Hanzo and his amazing swords.
As interesting as this is, I still think I'd rather watch Kill Bill then listen to classical music.

We recieved some radio transmissions, but all we've decoded so far is You're the best around and Eye of the Tiger.
But He could also blow his transmission!
Then he'd need to get it repaired.
But he wouldn't have access to the documentation.

Thats what I don't understand - how do you use the galaxy as a measuring instrument?
I'm Christian.

30 minutes in a 6 hour day was barely enough to keep me sane.
I too would have loved to have learned music.
But at the cost of sitting for 6 straight hours?
I can't even stand that as an adult working a desk job.
